Chapter Fourteen, Battle
Jasper's P.O.V:
I had just got back from hunting as quietly as I could as I didn't want to wake up my mate or my son. After showering and changing into the outfit I'll be wearing for the battle, I left my shoes by the bottom of the bed and climbed in besides Camilla. Smiling as she snuggled into my chest, placing a kiss on top of her head as I held her close and closed my eyes. Just absorbing this moment and the content emotions coming from my family. I am so proud of Camilla and all that she's accomplished since she first moved here, she's come along so well. I had no worries while I had her in my arms and was completely relaxed while I spent the last two hours with her.

It was time to leave and I didn't want to wake her so I gently placed a kiss to her forehead and then to her lips. "Jasper." Camilla muttered sleepily. "Shh. It's okay darling go back to sleep and I'll be here when you wake up. I love you." I whispered, kissing her lips once again. But instead of going back to sleep she suddenly became more alert, not that I could blame her we both thought in the front lines of a war for years. And she's now the Mistress of Death. Which means I'll never have to turn her, which Rosalie was happy about, but I was saddened as eventually she'd lose the twins, Neville and Luna. But we wouldn't lose Teddy as he now had that ability too. "Please be careful." Camilla begged. "Tell the others to be careful too. And Seth, Leah and Quil.
