"He actually showed. Wow." I muttered to Sweet Pea as Jughead walked into the Wyrm.

"Sweet Pea. Y/n." Jughead said as he walked up to us by the pool tables.

"You're really doing this then?" I tensed my shoulders.

"Yeah." He replied, his shoulders tensing as he walked over to Tall Boy in the middle of the room. Surprisingly, he did it. He remembered all the laws and got the knife from the snake, although he got bitten. It was actually kind of impressive. I had assumed he'd back out at the last second.

"You okay? I don't think I've ever seen you this quiet." Sweet Pea said, bringing me back to reality from my thoughts.

"Yeah, sorry. Just thinking about stuff."

"Wanna get out of here?"

"Yeah sure." He read my mind. He took my hand in his as we walked out, biking back to his trailer. We walked in, sitting down on the couch.

"What's on your mind?" Sweet Pea asked, wrapping me in his leather clad arms.

I leaned into him, his familiar scent filling my lungs. It was calming in a way. "It's not important, I'm just worrying about stuff."

"Well if you're worried about it, then it's important."

"It's really nothing."

"Hey." He said, tilting my face so I was looking at him. "You know you can tell me anything, right?"

I felt my heart beat slightly faster. I nodded, his chocolate eyes looking into mine. I felt his hand move to my waist and he pulled me closer. "Anything, okay?" He said, his voice low as his eyes darted between my lips and my eyes.

He leaned in, a hand moving to cup my face as he brought my lips to his. He kissed me hard; ravenously. He slid his hands to my hips as I straddled his lap. His lips moved down to my neck, attacking the supple skin. I felt him get hard beneath me and I tensed. If he wanted to-

I wasn't ready yet.

I pulled away from him, climbing off his lap.

"Did I do something? I'm sorry-" he began, but I cut him off.

"No, I-" I took a breath. "I'm just not ready for that yet. Sorry."

"Hey," he said, his voice soft. "Don't be sorry, okay? We'll get there when we're both ready."

I nodded, a small smile on my lips as he took my hand in his, brushing his thumb against my palm.

"It's getting late and we should get some sleep before your brother runs the gauntlet tomorrow."

I had almost forgotten. I nodded again, the two of us standing up as we headed to bed for the night.

I woke up the next morning, Sweet Pea still asleep, his arms around me. I carefully escaped his grasp, trying not to wake him as I ran to my trailer to get changed and put on some makeup. I did so quickly, grabbing a bag of extra clothes I could leave at his place as I headed back, the raven haired boy still sleeping. I looked through his pantry, grabbing some pancake mix and started making breakfast. I heard him stir a few minutes later as I put the first batch of pancakes on the stove. He walked out of the bedroom, shirtless with a pair of jeans.

"Morning." I smiled from the stove.

He groaned his response as he walked over to me, wrapping me in a tight hug.

I laughed as he kissed my cheek from behind, evidently still tired. "What's in the bag?" He asked as he glanced it on the couch, his morning voice sending butterflies through my body.
