Sweet Pea's POV:

She walked behind me to the pool table, passing old arcade games as I chose a stick for her and chalked it slightly. There was something different about her, something different from every other girl I've ever met. And yeah, when I saw her for the first time, it was just the looks. But there's something else; something deeper about her. She was captivating. The way she spoke, you just had to listen. And her laugh was amazing. It made you want to laugh too. And the moment we shared, even if it was only for the briefest of seconds, it was there. And I couldn't ignore it.

I passed her the pool stick and got one for myself. "You can go first, if you want." I suggested, trying to play it cool.

"Okay. Just reminding you that I haven't really ever played before." I smirked at her and she got ready to shoot. But oh god she was bad. Like, really bad. As she pulled back the pole to shoot, I held out a hand to stop her. I leaned my pole against the table and walked closer to her and asked, "May I?" She nodded as I moved in behind her and placed my hands over hers on the stick. My chest was pressed against her back and I could see the pink rising in her cheeks. I moved her front hand into the proper position as she took a shot, scattering the balls to the sides of the tables.

Your POV:

We finished a game and he let go of my hands, his obviously toned chest moving away from my back. "I think it's safe to say I won't be winning at this anytime soon." I joked. Sweet Pea laughed, his teeth peeking out from behind his full lips and once again, I found myself staring at him.

"Do you need a ride home?" He asked.

"Thanks, but I'll just walk." My brother would freak if he saw me on a bike with a serpent. Then again, it would be the type of revenge I need.

"The trailer park is pretty far away to walk." He said, leaning against the table.

"Alright, I'll take you up on that. Thanks." I smiled and looked up at him through my eyelashes as I followed him out of the Whyte Wrym. He was around a foot taller than me, which made me feel short as fuck, but I really liked being in his presence.

I followed him to his bike. He strapped on his helmet and climbed on, gesturing for me to climb on behind him. "Oh god." I said under my breath as he passed me a helmet. I rolled it in my hands nervously, kicking the gravel under my feet.

"Never been on a bike before?" he smiled, tucking a piece of his dark hair under his helmet.

I laughed and shook my head as I clipped on the helmet and straddled the padded seat. "Just... Go slow, okay?"

"Actually, it's a lot more dangerous if we do that. We need to go fast. Really fast. You ready?" He chuckled.

"Nope." He pulled out of the parking lot and into the streets, gaining speed as he went. As the sound of the engine grew louder, then fell, and grew louder again, I wrapped my arms around the serpent so tightly, I could swear I was suffocating him. He didn't complain, but laughed instead and went faster still as I squeezed my eyes shut and turned my face out of the wind. I felt his gloriously toned chest under my hands and the leather of his jacket brushing my neck as we rode along, now at a constant speed. Finally, we got to the trailer park and as soon as the bike stopped, I got off very ungracefully and handed his helmet back to him. He smiled as he took the helmet from my hand. "Thanks." I blushed, as my finger tips brushed his.

"Anytime, Y/n. See you 'round?"

"Oh you can do better than that. Phone." I commanded, smiling as he handed his phone to me. I punched in my number, name, and address and handed it back to him. "Bye Sweet Pea." I blushed.

"Bye." He smiled at me once more before he rode off. I walked to my trailer, greeted by a scowling Jughead Jones. Perfect.

"What the hell were you thinking?" He chastised me as I slid off my heels and grabbed the straps to take them back to my half of the room. "Did you go to the wyrm?" His face was contorted with anger as I pushed past him and into the main room. "Answer me, Y/n!" He yelled, taking off his hat and slamming it down on the table.

I abruptly turned around and shouted, "And what if I did! Do you honestly think you can keep me out of the serpents forever? I would've gone sooner or later!"

"What is wrong with you? First Reggie and now the Serpents!"

"Maybe it has something to do with the fact that my dad just went to prison for something he didn't do! Or that my brother won't let me live a life of my own! I know you don't want me to be involved with the serpents, but it's not your choice to make!" Hot angry tears started to run down my face as I ran to my half of the room and pulled the curtain closed. It sucked that there wasn't a door to slam.

"If I ever see you with Sweet Pea again or you go back to the wyrm-"

"What, Jughead! What will happen?" I opened the curtain again. "You're gonna hurt me? You're gonna go tell mom in Toledo?" He was speechless and his mouth was hanging open. Apparently this was the first time he realized I have a mind of my own. "That's what I thought." I closed the curtain once more as I wiped away my makeup and changed into an oversized Guns N' Roses shirt and some black shorts. I sat down at the end of my bed as the sun went down and thoughts of the dark mysterious boy who drove me home swirled around in my head.
