"Get dressed, something warm," Jake said as he barged into my room.
"Well hello to you, too," I said sarcastically.
"Just get dressed, I'll be waiting downstairs," He said and walked out.
I rolled my eyes. Boys.
Reluctantly, I got up and changed into some jeans and Pink sweatshirt. I added my toms, and left my hair down in it's natural curls. I grabbed my, thankfully fully charged, iPhone and slipped it in my purse. Quickly, I skipped down several flights of stairs,
"Let's go!" Jake shouted as soon as I got down, and grabbed my arm, dragging me out the door.
I climbed into the passenger side of his car, "It's 6 o' clock on New Years Eve, where are we going?"
"It's a surprise!" He spoke giddily.
I rolled my eyes and huffed, sitting back in the seat, " I hate surprises. They're all... surprising and shocking..."
"Shut up, you're gonna love this surprise!" Jake sang and I just shook my head, laughing.
Jake was wearing jeans with an American Eagle short sleeved v-neck. It was forest green, and complemented his tan skin nicely.
"John's meeting us there with Lindsay," He spoke up.
"Lindsay?"
"The girl he met at the party -- they really hit it off," He says, smiling a little.
"Aww, we can crash their date now!" I squealed while Jake chuckled.
I looked out the window as we slowed to a stop and saw a huge fair, lit up like the fourth of july, sitting right in front of us.
"Oh my gosh!" I gushed, excited to go in.
"Welcome to Malibu's famous New Year's Eve festival!" Jake announced in a deep, announcer -like voice. I laughed and hopped out of the car, already bursting with joy to enter the fair grounds.
"There's John and Lindsay," Jake pointed them out and we walked over to them.
Lindsey looked like I had remembered her, short and petite with long, straight blonde hair. She was wearing one of John's track hoodies and skinny jeans with Converse. It was a really cute outfit, I had to admit.
"Talia, right?" She asked me, sticking out her hand.
I shook her hand and nodded, "Yep, and you must be Lindsay?"
"That's me," She said, laughing slightly.
We walked on into the fair while the guys bought us our wristbands to go on all of the rides.
"So, are you and John official?" I asked and she blushed.
"Yeah, he asked me last night over dinner at this super fancy resturaunt, and it was so sweet the way he asked," She gushed unashamedly, and I smiled.
"Aww, that's so sweet!" I gushed along with her.
"So, you and Jake?" She asked me and I choked on air.
