"Hey, there's a party tonight at John's place, you in?" Jake whispered to me during Language Arts, our last class of the day.

"Sure. Can Mary and Liz come too?" I ask.

He nods, "Just make sure Mary doesn't get a hold on any alcohol,"

Nodding back shortly, I turn my attention back to the book in front of me, ignoring the annoyed looks from the teacher. Oh well, sucks for her. Finally, the final bell rang and I heard Jake say, "Meet me in the back, ten minutes,"

Shrugging, I walked back to my locker, packed my stuff and walked out to the back, Where I saw John and Jake sitting on the bleachers, staring out at the field.

"Hey!" I call, and stride over to them, "What's going on?"

Taking a seat, John's the first to reply, "You coming tonight?"

"Okay then, Mr. Blurter. Uh, yeah I guess. Why?" I laugh a little.

"Don't wear anything slutty. Roger will be all over you again, even worse than homeroom," He says Roger's name disdainfully. So, the guy who tried to flirt with me must've been Roger... Hmph.

"Okay, I'll just wear my lace bra and thong," I say, joking.

"Talia, he's serious," Jake said, frustrated.

"Okay, I get it," I say, slightly weirded out.

"I'll pick you up at 8," Jake says dismissively and I walk out and to the parking lot where Mary seems

very annoyed with a smirking Marcus. Liz and Lucas are laughing in the back.

"Where's Jake?" Marcus asks and I shrug.

"Not coming,"

He nods and drops us off... What to wear. But first -- I'm gonna have fun inviting Mary and Liz to the party.

"Mary! Liz!" I sing happily from the bottom of the steps.

"What!?" Mary screams back, irritated.

"Yeah?" Liz asked, poking her head out the door.

"Come here real quick!" I shout. Lizzy comes right down while Mary takes her time.

"Can I help you?" Mary speaks, so obviously annoyed.

"Well if you don't wanna come, go ahead back upstairs," I say confidently, crossing my arms over my chest defiantly.

"Come where?" She asks, her tone full with boredom.

"Well I was wondering..." Suddenly, our mother  walked in and I covered up with, "If you wanted to go up to the library and study with the Moore boys,"

"Sure!" Liz chirped and skipped upstairs. Mary rolled her eyes and noticed that mom was looking at her.

"Sure, why not," She groans and I clap my hands, "Great! We should head over in about ten minutes then!"

Dragging Mary up to my room, I grab Liz and we all sit on my couch.

"Dang girl, this is where your room is?" Elizabeth asks once we enter.

I nod and shrug, "Yeah. So anyways, we're not really going to the library. There's a party and we're going. Just put your stuff in your bags and then meet me down in the foyer in ten minutes. We'll walk over and get ready from there. 'Kay?"

"Okay," My sisters said simultaneously. Nodding, they take it as a sign to get out and they do. Now to find something to wear...

After five minutes of going through my closet, I settle on a purple one shoulder dress. It came down past my butt, almost to mid-thigh but not quite. Pairing black pumps with the dress, I slipped them as well as my makeup and brush into my book-bag. My books were hidden in my dresser, so if mother came up here -- she wouldn't find my books.

Quickly running down the stairs in sweats, an old tournament t-shirt and converse, I met with Mary and Lizzy then walked over to the Moore's house. Knocking on the door, Jake answered and gave him a smile.

"We're ready to go to the library," I say. He shakes his head and laughs, gesturing for us to come in. The house is a mess and there's boys wandering all over. Guess we're at the pre-party right now...
