"Liam. You seriously need to tell me what's going on." Lilianna folded her arms over her chest as she sat in the driver's seat of the car once they'd gotten home.
Lilianna had wanted to talk to Liam in the driveway of Lydia's lakehouse but then she realized she didn't want to embarrass him in front of basically the entire freshman class.
"It's nothing." Liam shook his head.
"It's obviously not nothing considering I had to drive all the way out to the lakehouse of a girl that I barely know by the way. And some of those kids who helped you go to the hospital, were very unfriendly, just so you know." Lilianna protested, "Oh and I cancelled on Brett who I know you don't like, but he's my best friend."
Liam looked down at his hands but didn't answer and Lilianna sighed.
"I'm sorry, I know it's hard moving to a new school in the middle of the year. I'm just trying to look out for you, that's all."
"I know, Lils but I'm okay. I promise." Liam answered, finally looking at his sister.
Lilianna ran a hand through her hair, "You'll tell me if something is going on with you, right? Because I don't want to find out about it from someone else."
"Okay." Liam nodded and started to get out of the car but Lilianna spoke up and Liam stopped.
"Oh and please don't ignore Mason." Lilianna added.
"I'm not." Liam insisted.
Lilianna raised an eyebrow, "Well, that's not what Mason said. Oh and how is your leg all better? Did you gain healing powers in the past month, or something?"
"No, it just wasn't really broken." Liam said.
Lilianna rolled her eyes, "Yeah you disappeared before dad could give you an x-ray."
"I'm fine." Liam nodded, "You're coming to the lacrosse game, right?"
