As soon as James dived in the water he was overwhelmed by all the colours and creatures that were around, then he felt a familiar feeling of hunger wash over him, he needed to catch fish, but how? He had little to no survival experience amd had no idea if any fish here were even edible!
Nonetheless he tried his best to swim after some of the slower fauna, he eventually caught up to a small almost balloon like fish.
His PDA notified him that it was called a 'Bladderfish', then his stomach grumbled, realising how hungry he really was he swam back to his lifepod.
On his way in however he noticed that some of the wires and part of the panel were damaged, "Great: he thought aloud he'd need to repair that afterwards, for now he walked to the fabricator and browsed his options.
He spotted the 'Food and Water' category and selected it immediately, he saw an icon that looked similar to the fish he had previously caught labelled 'Cooked Bladderfish' he pressed it and placed the fish on the shelf and the machine started cooking the poor animal instantly.
Smelling the cooking flesh made him ecstatic, he hadn't eaten since last night on the Aurora, after the fish had cooked he wolfed it down as fast as he could, but he was still hungry, so he decided to go back for a swim and see what he could find.
Exiting through the bottom hatch this time, he started swimming towards a kelp-looking forest, it was when he got there that he noticed a small problem.... he had nothing to cut the kelp with, so he assumed he would need materials to make a tool.
He swam back to the shallows swimming up to take a breath of air on the way ("Oxygen" XD), diving down, his PDA directed him to a small rock on the side of a coral formation, hitting it with his fist until it broke, it dropped a navy blue metal his PDA called 'Titanium' he scooped it up into his inventory and started searching for other outcrops.
