Shermer was a town of many things, so it wasn't a surprise to find six students going to a Saturday detention together. Leaf Badeaux wasn't surprised either. There were two things he loved more than poetry and guitar, the Smiths and his little sister. He wasn't surprised about a lot of things, until he found himself reunited with Shermer's one and only criminal, John Bender, on a rather eventual Saturday. Will they stop their feud and admit that they're both similar and accept their unrequited feelings, along with five other students? Or will it end up as another mundane Saturday, just like every other?
