Bucky eventually caught up with the duo,

"They are coming," Florence looked down at the phone to see that the target was close,

"Mercy bears richer fruit than strict justice," John spoke with a smirk as they found three of the flag smashers,

"It's a great app," Bucky pointed down to the phone that the girl was holding,

"You can thank Karli for the call earlier," Florence smirked as she looked at the male from the group who grew confused,

"Without her, we wouldn't have hacked it," she added as she was grateful for all of the time that she had spent with Tony in the lab as it was now paying off,

"You can take them from here," the girl clapped her hands as the SWAT team came out,

"Lincoln really?" Bucky asked as they turned around and began walking the other way,

"He was a great man," John shrugged as he knew his point was valid,

"Now that right there is the reason why I'm glad that Steve was the one who taught me history," Florence shot back as she shook her head,

The history she learnt was interesting.

"So you know nothing about actual history," the raven-haired boy cocked his head as he smirked,

"Besides World War Two, nothing." The ginger shook her head as she sighed,

"That sounds like Steve," Bucky let out a laugh as he smiled,

"But hey, I got a story from someone who was there." Florence shrugged as it was a first-hand account,

"And you wouldn't make it into a normal history lesson," she added in a duh tone.

Florence sat with Bucky as they waited to hear back from Sam,

"I'm sure he is okay," Bucky placed his hand on top of hers as he smiled,

"I know, I just want to know that he is for sure." Florence nodded as she pushed her hair back,

"What are you thinking about?" She added as she cocked her head,

"The relaxing day we still need to take," the raven-haired boy let out a sigh as the day that had started did not go to plan,

"We're making it into a relaxing trip at this point," the ginger pointed out as she shook her head,

" I could use a nice cold beer right about now," she added in a duh tone,

"You really are Steve's kid," he shook his head as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder,

"What can I say," the girl shrugged,

"The man had good taste in drinks after a rough day," she added in a serious tone,

"Yeah," Bucky nodded as he remembered the times that they used to go to the bar,

"Thank you for saving my ass," Florence knew that he had done it a few times that night and she hadn't thanked him for any of them.

"That's what boyfriends are for," the raven-haired boy shrugged as he smiled,

"Wait look," he added as he looked up into the sky,

"There he is," Florence let out a sigh of relief seeing that he was alive,

"Is she dead?" She added in a blunt tone seeing the body in his arms,

"Why'd you say it like that?" Bucky shook his head as he pinched the bridge of his nose,

"I was just asking a question," the ginger shrugged,

"Wait what is he doing?" She added as she cocked her head,

"Putting him in his place," Bucky smirked as he watched what was about to happen.

Sam had finished talking to the senator and it was safe to say that Bucky and Florence felt like proud parents,

"Sorry I was texting," Bucky sighed as Sam walked over to them,

"So all I heard was the black guy in Stars and Stripes," he added as he did this weird hand movement,

"He is lying," Florence shook her head as she felt him wrap his arm around her shoulders,

"We're proud of you," she added as she smiled,

"And he would be too," the girl pointed up to the sky hinting to Steve,

"Thank you," the younger man sighed as he looked up to the sky,

"It means a lot," he added causing the couple to nod,

"You gonna get used to us calling you cap now?" Bucky asked as he cocked his head,

"Not anytime soon," Sam shrugged as it was something he was going to have to get used to.

"Wait, Sharon?" He added as he cocked his head,

"What happened?" The older man looked at her with wide eyes as he saw the gunshot wound,

"I got shot," Sharon explained in a duh tone,

"We got to get you to a hospital," Sam looked around for the nearest car,

"She'll be thrown into prison the second they get a chance," Florence pointed out as she shook her head,

"I may be able to do something though," she added as she motioned to her hands,

"You are not going anywhere near me with those powers," the blonde warned as she shook her head,

"Look I hate to be the one to tell you this but it may be the only option you have," Bucky sighed as he looked at his girlfriend.
