The couple got back to their apartment and Florence was ready to crash,

"Buck?" Florence asked as she didn't see him in the bedroom,

"I'm heading out," Bucky explained as he watched her walk into the living room,

"For what?" The girl cocked her head as it was late,

"We just got back," she added as she didn't want to see him leave just yet.

"I need to go and see someone," the raven-haired boy explained as he grabbed her hands,

"Okay," the ginger nodded,

"I'll leave the door unlocked then," she added as she motioned to the front door;

"No I'll take my key," the boy shook his head,

"I know how you get when you sleep with then door unlocked," he added as he furrowed his eyebrows,

"You okay?" Florence cocked her head as she was worried about him,

"Yeah," Bucky nodded with a soft smile,

"I just need to go and do this," he added with a sigh,

"Okay," the ginger nodded as she squeezed his hands,

"Stay safe out there," she added as she placed a kiss on his lips,

"You got it," the raven-haired boy dropped her hands as he watched her slowly walk back to the bedroom,

"Princess," he called out,

"Yeah?" The girl slowly turned back around to face him,

"Don't wait up on me," the boy explained as he put his hands into his pockets,

"I will be a while," he added with a sigh,

"Okay," Florence nodded as she watched him leave before she made her way to the door and locked it as she took the key out and placed it on the table.

Like every other child, Florence went through a phase where she had nightmares almost every night,

"Steve," Florence's voice trembled as she stood next to him,

"I had a bad dream," she added in a scared tone,

"Come here," Steve sighed as he turned over and motioned for her to join him on his bed,

"What was it about?" He asked as he cocked his head,

"I lost you," the ginger mumbled as she sat on his lap,

"How," the brunette ran his fingers through her hair as he knew it calmed her down,
