SPOILER ALERT

Best read "Lament love" and "Remarkable" before you read this.

🥀

Q) Did Hamza love Sophia?
A) Yes, he did. He didn't verbally express, lied through his teeth, claimed to love Sabeeha most of the time but he did love Sophia. Dare I say, something already began to brew between them when Sophia proposed their Marriage. It's a shitty bg story but it's true.

Q) How did Sophia die?
A) Suicide, perhaps? Her end is open to interpretation. ☠️

Q) Did Hamza love Sabeeha?
A) I don't think he ever did, he liked her, for sure though. He had only just convinced himself that he loved her because she had refused when he had wanted her. Now, Hamza did get what he wanted by whatever means necessary (Sophia, the baby, Sabeeha came to him.) so when he had Sabeeha, he convinced himself that he loved her. The other less preferred alternative is his ego was hurt when Sabeeha had rejected him and by marrying her, he compensated for the latter.

Moreover, He gave up on Sabeeha thrice in his life,
1) When he had divorced her.
2) When he had asked her to return to wherever it's that she'd come from.
3) When he learnt Ardashir had confronted Sabeeha to convince her so she didn't marry him. (Remarkable)

I don't think a vengeful man like Hamza would have let go of his wife as easily as he did, thrice when he went to Sophia, time and again, all by himself.

Q) Why did Hamza chase Sabeeha to the ends of the Earth? Orchestrated the events of 'Remarkable'?

A) My guess, Sophia's death shook him terribly, he did love her as we have already surmised. He needed a reason to survive, anger/revenge is a good enough motivation for a lesser man like Hamza. He had once said that Sophia brought him back to life. Imagine, losing the very person, it did a number on him.

Q) What happens to Ardashir after Sophia's death?

A) Hamza sends him or rather Habiba Rizwan bring Ardashir with them.

Q) Had it not been for Sophia's death, would they have lived happily ever after?

A) YES! I do believe so, whole heartedly. Hamza was a big schemer and an ego-maniac but he was never an inherently bad person, that's all. Had Sophia lived a bit longer, they would have come together to have a few more children and lived, a long happy life, together. He would have confessed, eventually but sadly, they never came to that point.

Q) Why did Hamza hurt Ardashir?

A) I don't think for once Hamza had intentionally tried to hurt Ardashir, it's just over the course of years the decisions he took had indirectly affected his son in more than one way, he suffered for his actions and by the time, Hamza let go of his revenge. It's simply too late, he decided that on his own even though Ardashir thought otherwise because Hamza didn't think himself worthy of Ardashir's forgiveness, he wasn't being cruel, he was trying to protect his son from himself. He didn't intend to hurt Ardashir in the later years but he ended up doing just that when he didn't actively try to improve his behavior. In some perverse way, he didn't want to hurt Ardashir anymore than he already had, improved behavior would lead to expectations and expectations always hurt. Not the ideal approach, this was Hamza hurt and betrayed by his closest, he did what he thought best. It just wasn't the right thing to do.

Q) Why did Hamza physically abuse Ardashir?

A) He lost his way. There's no justification for child abuse that alone makes him a bad father. That alone made him unworthy of Ardashir's forgiveness, he realized that but it was always Ardashir's choice and Hamza knowingly took that choice away from him.

Q) Why did Hamza mourn their child's loss alone?

A) Everyone has a way of coping, Hamza despite his efforts of keeping things together has always lost in one way or another, the unborn child was yet another example. He thought it best to deal with it alone and since, he wasn't at his best, he didn't think he could have helped Sophia, either so he stayed away. It's a bad decision, it's a big mistake.

Q) Why was Hamza always blamed?

A) Among his many mistakes, he allowed people to think what they thought of him. He seldom explained himself. It didn't help, he didn't apologize for his mistakes or sought apology from others to forgive them for their mistakes. All those assumptions about him- Until one day, they began to mount for nothing, he paid for in heaps.

Q) Was Hamza Hassan Omer a liar?

A) Yes but he was atleast honest about it.

Q) What happened to Zain? Sabeeha?

A) That's a story for another time.

🥀

I hope all of this is not only in my head and I was able to translate it in the story, as well. 🌚

Hamza is human, he is not black and white. He is extremely complicated and he's one of the best I have written if I say so myself.

Sophia didn't get what she deserved. Maybe but she had never wanted better. She had wanted Hamza for what he was, she had wanted him above all that should count for something. After all, life is hardly fair.

I hope for the excruciating pain in the ass that Hamza was, you enjoyed reading about him and dearest Sophia.

Feel free to ask if you have anymore questions. I'll sift the chapters and add more!

Live a good life!

Now, onto the next story (Deception)🥂
