This is Lame, I tell you. 😔

"Wait here, I'll bring the car around," Sufiyan told Shahzaib, leaving him to wait at the square as he walked to the parking lot.
As soon as Sufiyan sat in the passenger seat, he pulled out the velvet box and took the ring nestled in it, he hid it in the back pocket of the passenger seat and left the shopping bag sitting on it.
Shahzaib moved to put the bag beside his feet when he sat in the car.
"I think that bike is following us, "Shahzaib spoke when Sufiyan swerved on the main road. His eyebrows dipped together, suspiciously as his eyes shifted from the side mirror to Sufiyan.
"I have noticed," Sufiyan met Shahzaib's gaze."Don't panic." Sufiyan pressed harder on the accelerator. It had taken him too long to notice that he was about to get robbed along with Shahzaib.
Shit.
"How much money do you have in your wallet, Shahzaib?" Sufiyan asked, his eyes barely moved from the bike trailing behind him in the rearview mirror."Take out your cards. Throw them under the seat. The jewellery bag, too. Leave some cash in your wallet and the rest goes under."
"Okay. Okay," Shahzaib followed Sufiyan's precise instructions.
Sufiyan panicked when he saw Shahzaib taking out the jewellery boxes from the bag in his periphery, "What are you doing?"
"I-" Shahzaib didn't get the opportunity to tell him anything as the car screeched to an abrupt halt, he regretted not crashing it in the bike.
A single lapse in his concentration had cost him. Before long, Sufiyan found himself parking the car by the pavement and rolling down his window, halfway through already gesturing Shahzaib for his phone and wallet.
"Bahir nikal!" (come out!) The robber shouted at him, pushing the gun through the narrow opening in the window as he struggled with the handle on the door while the other walked to Shahzaib's window.
They were surrounded and Sufiyan hadn't anticipated that happening.
Sufiyan lowered his raised hands and slowly opened the car door, Shahzaib followed him.
"Wallet, phones, Jaldi nikaal," The shout came from the opposite side while his partner took the gun to Sufiyan's temple, his hand outstretched for Sufiyan's things.
Sufiyan swallowed, thickly, his heart galloping beneath his chest.
"Jewelry bhi nikaal," The other man yelled at Shahzaib and Sufiyan closed his eyes, his movements slow and deliberate, he thrusted a hand in his back pocket for his wallet. The realization that they had been followed from the shop at the square came to both of them, together.
Shahzaib's heart skyrocketed to his throat, his arms raised in alarm, "Under my seat."
"Passenger seat k neechay, "Sufiyan translated when he heard Shahzaib.
Shahzaib pulled his lips inside his mouth as the man roughly shoved him inside the car, on the front seat with a child lock in place.
For God's sake!
He didn't have his phone, his wallet, Sufiyan still stood outside the car, alone and he was damn well about to lose his bank cards and the bracelet he had bought.
He did lose them when the man found everything he had wanted and more under the seat with a deep chuckle, Shahzaib cursed under his breath.
Sufiyan was sure a wordless exchange had taken place between the two of them when the man who had been controlling him narrowed his eyes at him as his wingman deposited their things in the bag hanging on one side of the bike, he sat astride awaiting his partner. His eyes fixed on Sufiyan as Sufiyan glared back at him.
