Dorm Room 5:30 amI gotta stop partying. I mean I haven't slept and I forgot about my homework for my Agriculture Science class.
I was finishing up my ending thesis for the paper my instructor asked us to write when the thought of Grey popped up into my head.
I hope she's not still mad about me leaving. I haven't talked to Grey in 3 days. She won't answer my calls or text, she won't talk to me at the coffee shop in the mornings and I haven't caught her out in the courtyard.
Why was she ignoring and avoiding me?
I didn't even do anything. I thought she would have been over me leaving that day. I don't even know why she got mad in the first place.
This shit is confusing man.
I tried so hard to talk to her yesterday morning but she literally did not speak. She wouldn't even blink. This girl is taking shit to the extreme.
I finished my paper and submitted it from my school email. When I finished that I went to lay down again. I don't have to be to my first class until 9:05 today. That meant I had 3 and half more hours to sleep. If I could even fall asleep.
Right when I laid down my phone dinged. I looked to see a text from Grey.
GG Mina✨: you up?
Me: yeah
GG Mina✨: open up
I hopped out of bed and opened the door of my dorm room.
Grey stood there with her hands shoved into her sweats and her head down. She was wearing a tank top and her Nike slides I bought for her last week.
"Come on." I said grabbing her hand and pulling her into my room. I shut the door and we laid down.
It was quiet for a while. I assumed Grey was falling back asleep.
"I'm sorry Heem." Grey said lowly.
"No Grey it's okay. Let's just go back to sleep, I'm tired and I have a class in a few." I said a yawn escaping my lips.
"You really should read your email. Your instructor canceled class for today. You don't have a class until 2:30." Oh, how nice.
"Oh okay. Thanks Mina." I say calling her one of my various nicknames for her.
After a while both of us fell asleep.
"Shaheem wake up." I heard Grey's soft voice.
"No." I groaned rolling over onto my back.
"Shaheem seriously get up! You have to go to class in an hour." She shook me.
If I have class in a hour, that means I still have 30 minutes to sleep.
