Although, practice is my favorite hour of the day, I hate everyone in there except one person, and that's Sky. All the other people in this school I don't hate are either in different classes or different sports. I'm stuck with Sky and a bunch of idiots who complain about the stuff Coach makes us do.

"But, Coach, I'm tired." Was said more often than anything else.

Saying that only caused the Coach to say this; "One more minute of running!" which made everyone mad, so the complainer would actually shut up.

One time, someone disappeared into the locker room during practice. Coach set a stopwatch, so he could see how long that person was gone, which was around six minutes. He doubled the time, so we had to run for twelve minutes straight. I don't think I've seen that person leave the gym once since that happened.

When practice was over, I got to the locker room and changed. Right as I was about to put my phone in my pocket, my brother called.

"Hello?" I said.

"Tyler,"

"Yes?"

"You're at school, right?"

"Yes, why are you calling me?"

"Well, I don't know, I thought it'd be nice to talk to my brother."

"But, I'm at school, like I just said. You see, not all of us are drop outs like someone."

"Come on, quit being a dick. How's life? How's mom and Kyle?"

"You act like we haven't talked in months when it's only been a couple days. What do you really want?"

"I wanted to talk to you, but you're too much an asshole to care, apparently." He said, before hanging up.

I groaned and put my phone in my pocket. Maybe I should have just talked to him.

While I made my way back to the school, I saw her making her way towards to gym. Rachel. She's so beautiful and way too perfect for me.

She glanced at me and looked away before I could smile at her.

I'm just a lost, messed up boy, but Rachel; she's perfect. She's nice, funny, beautiful. Just everything.

"Tyler!" Someone called from behind me.

I turned and saw Sky jogging towards me.

"What's up?" I said, once he caught up to me.

"Dude, I saw the way you just looked at Rachel." He said.

I felt my cheeks burn.

"Why don't you just talk to her?" He asked.

"She'd think I'm weird."

He groaned and threw his head back. "You pansy, she won't either. Just try."

"Okay, okay. I will, eventually."

"You better."

The day went by pretty quick and before I knew it, the last bell rang and I walked out of the building with two text books. I wouldn't have homework if I didn't sit next to loud and obnxious idiots in those subjects. We got to sit where we want until the teachers got tired of students' bullshit and made a seating chart. Now, I don't get to sit by the only person in my class that I don't want to punch in the face; Michael.

While I was making my way through school campus, I spotted Rachel. I remembered what I told Sky, although I was planning on pretending I forgot--until I saw Sky walking out of the school. His eyes burned into mine. He pointed at me, then pointed at Rachel. I shook my head. He shrugged and started making his way towards Rachel.

"Shit." I muttered to myself.

I dropped my books and took off in a dead sprint. Sky didn't notice me until it was too late. I jumped on his back and tackled him to the ground.

"Get off me, you prick!" He yelled.

"You gonna' keep your dirty mouth shut?"

"No," He said. "RACH-" He yelled, but I cut him off by putting my hand over his mouth.

"Shut up." I said through gritted teeth.

"Is everything okay?" Someone said.

I stopped beating Sky and we both looked towards whoever just talked to us. Of course, it was Rachel.

I got off Sky and stood up. Rachel had my books and handed them to me.

"Yes, everything's fine. Why do you ask?" I said.

"Well," She said, looking at Sky.

"Oh, him? He's fine."

"I think you broke something." Sky muttered out.

Rachel giggled. "Well, if everything's fine, then I guess I'll be going."

She was about to turn and walk off, then Sky's loud mouth spoke up. "Wait, no!"

"Shut up, shut up, shut up." I muttered.

He stood up. "Tyler wants your number."

I hid my face with my books. "I'm going to kill you." I muttered to Sky.

She giggled. "Okay."

She grabbed my hand and started writing on it with a pen. Even though I couldn't see my face, I knew it was red.

Rachel smiled before walking off.

"Who was right?" Sky's smart self said.

I turned to him and decked him across the face with my math text book.

Just kidding, no I didn't, but I sure wanted to.

"You." I mumbled.

"What was that? I didn't hear you."

"You." I said a little bit louder.

"Still didn't hear you."

"You." I said, once again, a little bit louder.

"What?" He said.

"You, Skyler Acord, were right!" I yelled.

"Tyler, use your inside voice."

A/N: I laughed while writing this haha.
