Finally, the last day of school. It's summer break and I have two months to decide what I'm going to do about school. Stay here or move to Westlake.

I was walking out of the bathroom when I heard my name across the hall. When I looked to see who it was, I saw Ms. Baker. She was talking to Mr. Maloof and I assumed she wasn't meaning to get my attention. They were talking about me.

"I've been hearing that he's transferring to Westlake. Is that true?" Ms. Baker asked.

"I haven't heard about that. But that doesn't mean anything." Mr. Maloof said. "Nobody can ever guess what he is up to."

"Yeah, no kidding." She said.

Mr. Maloof shook his head shamefully. "Poor kid is just a lost cause. Never gonna amount to anything."

And that's when my decision was made. Fuck this school.

I walked away so they wouldn't see me and know I heard.

While I was emptying my locker and putting stuff in my bag, Kristi came up to me.

"Hey, Tyler." She said.

"What's up?"

"Could you be so kind as to give me a ride home?" She asked in a flirty tone.

"Where's your car?"

"Wouldn't start this morning, had to get a ride from someone." She said.

I sighed. "Yeah, sure."

After I got my stuff, we went out to the parking lot and got in my car.

I know as soon as we get to her house, she's going to invite me in. But I'm not going to do it.

We got to her house and I parked in front of the drive way.

It was silent for a couple seconds.

"So, you probably think I was going to invite you in. I mean, I was, but I changed my mind." She said. "Look, T,"

The last person who called me that was Rachel. I didn't know if I liked it or not.

"I heard you're leaving and I just what you to know that I'm gonna miss you being around here. I know it doesn't really seem like it, but I do like you." He said. "I hate admitting it to myself but when Rachel passed away, I just tried to snatch you. I didn't really think about it, I just wanted you."

I wanted to be mad at her, but I couldn't. Not after she was able to have the courage to tell me.

"It's okay." I said. "And I like you, too, Kristi. Right now, though, isn't a good time for me."

"No, of course. I totally get that." She said. "It's just that since today is the last day of school and you're not going to be here next year, I thought I should just clear things up while I had the chance."

I smiled at her. "Well, I appreciate that."

She smiled back before getting out of the car.

A/N: Guys, I am truly sorry I've been slacking so much. I don't really know if I'm going to continue this story. I want to, but I just don't have the motivation anymore. Everything is just horrible again. I was finally getting to the point of being happy, but everything just got torn apart again. But now I guess I know not to get my hopes up that things will get better because even if they do, it won't last very long. I just feel so taken advantage of and unappreciated.

I don't know what to do anymore honestly.

But I'll let you guys know what I decide to do with the story. Continue it or just give up on it.
