I get home a little earlier than expected. "Mom I'm home." I see her poke her head in from the living room. "So how did it go?" "I stood against a wall for most of it." She gives me a sympathetic smile. I give tired smile back. I head up to my room and get ready for bed.

As I get up and ready for school I wonder if Josuke is skipping school today. I eat breakfast and head to school. On the way there I take a different path through a park. I can't stand walking on the sidewalks there are too many people. I see that someone planted some flowers in the flower beds. I take a look at some of the flowers they planted. I finish looking and head off to school.

When I get to the classroom I see Okuyasu but no Josuke. " Hey Okuyasu." he waves and we talk a bit before class starts. I take some extra notes for two reasons. One is I need all the information I can get and two I know that Josuke will need the notes for each of these classes.

By the end of the day, I am exhausted and ready to go home. "Hey, Y/n wait up." I look around to see Koichi. I give him a questioning look. " I wanted to ask if you've seen Yukako." "I remember seeing her at lunch but other than that I'm not sure. Didn't you guys have a date yesterday?" "What are you talking about." " I remember that she was really excited for you guys to go on that date." I see the realization settle in. He waves and rushes off but turns to ask me if I can go by Rohan sensei's house and tell him that he will not be coming over today.

I make it to his house quickly hoping to get this over with fast. I knock on his door and wait. I hear footsteps approach and then disappear. " I know that you're in there. I just wanted to tell you that Koichi couldn't make it today." The door opens suddenly. He looks me up and down and scoffs. I don't care for Rohan he annoys me and he doesn't like me anyway. "Well did he say why?" "No he didn't but I'm going to guess that it has something to do with Yukako." He scoffs again which is starting to get on my nerves. "Well, that's all have a nice day." I walk away in a rush. I didn't hate him at first. In fact, I was I fan of his work but then I met him and he was an ass to me. He called me boring and said I had nothing to offer him.

As I walk I remember the notes. I change directions and head to Josuke's house. I arrive around dinner. I knock on the door. I hear Tomoko yell something then silence. The door opened suddenly "Look there's no par- oh hey Y/n what are you doing here Y/n." "oh Tomoko I just came here because I noticed that Josuke wasn't at school today." She yells behind her at Josuke something about how she thought that he went to school. " Umm was that all Y/n?" "I actually took extra notes in class today for him." "Oh come on in for a minute then Y/n." I walk in and see Josuke playing some video game. "Josuke!" I look up and see the girl from last night. "I should really get going Tomoko I can just set the notes on the dining room table for him." I really don't want to talk to that girl. I don't hate her or envy her I just feel bad for her. "Are you sure Y/n?" I nod and turn and walk out the door.

When I get home it's already dark out. I see my parents cleaning up from dinner. I see a plate made for me. "Sorry, I'm late I had a couple of errands." My dad is the first to talk. "It's fine I just wished that you had told us." I eat and tell them what happened. After I got done I headed upstairs and did my school work. I go to make a phone call when the phone starts ringing. I pick it up and wonder who it could be. "Hey is this Y/n?" "yes" "Hi I'm the girl that was at Josuke's house earlier and I was wondering if you wanted to go somewhere tomorrow and get to know each other." "Why?" "I want to get to know you better?" "Sure I guess I could do that." "Ok well, I gotta go." I hang up. I don't really want to go somewhere with someone I don't know. I regret saying yes but, for some reason, I couldn't say no.
