"How was your day, Y/N? Did you make any new friends?" Y/N's mom asked as she sat on the couch, watching TV. She muted the channel and looked at Y/N happily for an answer.

As soon as Y/N heard this, she felt her throat tighten and stomach curl inwards. "Be calm Y/N!!" She instructed herself. Suddenly all the memories came flooding back. How vividly she remembers spending her time with her old friends. How they were there for her when she needed them. Sure she called them sometimes but it wasn't like before.

Especially, that one Special person. Her name was Rachel. She was the one person Y/N would go to always. Y/N thought that she cared about her. A lot.

Y/N may look a like a strong and confident person but there was one problem with her. She would cry very easily when someone be it a friend or a adult would scold her. It was one of her weakness.

Flashback:-

"You are an arrogant, irresponsible child Y/N!! You had one job!! No wonder, you can't get anything right!!"
Her mom scolded her in front of her friends. "But mom I.. " Y/N started but was cut off by her mom angrily staring at her, signalling her to be silent. She then left the place and hurried of somewhere.

All her friends watched as a flood of tears gushed down her ashen cheeks. She quivered as she wiped at her tears bit they came anyways. Y/N looked at her friends in embarrassment and agony. She immediately turned away and started walking in the opposite direction, trying her best to keep a straight face.

Suddenly, she felt a hand on her shoulder. She didn't stop to see who it was until the person stood in front of her, blocking her way. Y/N looked at the person. It was Rachel. The person Y/N had hurt the most. Yet there she was.

Rachel didn't waste any time and hugged Y/N tightly. "It's ok Y/N. I'm here. You can let it out" she consoled Y/N and hugged her more tightly. "I'm a wreck Rachel. I can't do one right! What mom said is right!! " She sobbed uncontrollably on Rachel's shoulder. She felt a hot burn on her cheeks as the tears rolled down.

Rachel removed herself from Y/N arms and looked at in her eyes. " I don't care what your mom says about you. I know what a kind of person you are! You are none of the things what you mom said. Screw her!!" She announced and shook her head.

"Why are you doing this? I hurt you Rachel. I hurt you real bad but still... You are here. Why?" Y/N asked as she looked in Rachel's eyes."It's because I know that you are a good person and that you have a heart of gold." She answered and pointed to Y/N's heart.

"Promise me you won't ever leave me." Y/N asked with hope in her eyes.

"I won't."

"What's the use of making friends, Mom!!?? It's not like we will stay here forever!! It's better not to make any."
Y/N yelled and started sobbing as the flashback faded 😭.

She was tired of always moving around from one place to another. The was her tiring cycle that she wanted to break but couldn't. Whenever she shifted somewhere new, she would miss her old friends. By the time she got attached to her new friends, she would shift again. the cycle continued 😭😭 But a few years ago, she decided to not make any friends so that she wouldn't miss them when she shifted again.
