The bell rang. It was lunch break. Y/N exited her class and went to her locker. She opened it and kept her books in it. "Hey!!" She almost got a heart attack when she heard this voice. "Dude!! U need to take it easy" Y/N said after seeing who it was. It was none other than the youngest member of the Park family.

"I'm sorry if I scared you" Chaeyoung replied with puppy eyes."Apology accepted" Y/N said with a smile. "Come on! I gotta show you something" Chae announced. She took Y/N's hand and basically dragged her towards the garden behind the pool. "Woah! Calm down, chae" Y/N begged her as she was being dragged.

Finally, chae stopped behind a bush. She made sure that no one was around except them. "What is going on?" Y/N demanded. Chae hushed her and pulled out a small cardboard box from behind the bush. It was a grey coloured, medium sized box.

"What's in that?" Y/N asked looking scared 😨. The box moved a little. "uhhh!! Ok now I'm scared! " She continued. "Just open it, Y/N!!" Chae ordered. Y/N took a step towards the box and bent down. She very carefully opened it.

Inside was the cutest thing Y/N had ever seen. It was a golden colored puppy 😩😩. A Labrador to be specific. It's eyes were still closed. Y/N took it in her arms and lifted it up. "Awww!! This is the cutest thing ever" Y/N said looking at chae with warmth in her eyes. "I knowr" chae responded in her thick Aussie accent and started petting it.

"Did she just??!! That was hot" Y/N thought. "Where did you find her?" Y/N asked while kissing it. "Him. It's a boy" chae corrected. "I found him somewhere over here. He was all alone and that too was just born some time ago" she informed while making sure that no one was there. "Woof woof" the puppy added in with very low voice.

"What do you wanna name him?" Y/N questioned. "I don't know. Suggest some names" chae said, thinking about some names. "What about Hank?" Y/N suggested. "Umm it's good but we can find something better." Chae suggested while running her hand over the newborn's body. "What about Luca?"
Y/N said, hoping that Chaeyoung would accept it. "That's such a great name. I am with you on this one" chae said smiling and took Luca from Y/N.

Y/N was soo happy right now. This was one of her dreams. She always wanted to get a pet since forever. But her mom never allowed her to adopt any pet. Whenever Y/N asked requested her mom to adopt a pet for her, she would make up excuses saying that who will take care of the pet when they shifted?
Will the pet be able to adjust to somewhere new?

And she had a good reason not to. She had valid reasons. But most importantly, it was maybe because she knew how hard to would be for Y/N if something happened to the pet. She didn't want to know. She didn't want
Y/N to get hurt in any way. It was her only motive.

"He's gonna be our boy🥰🥰 But wait? Who will take him?" Chaeyoung enquired while kissing Luca on his head. "I will try my best to convince my mom, chae. But I doubt she will allow." Y/N sadly told. She got a little tensed as she didn't want to leave Luca alone.

"Hey don't worry! I will also try to convince my parents. Hopefully they will consider it." Chae said while looking at Y/N and consoling her. She then kept Luca back in the box. "We gotta go now. The break's over." she continued and started walking towards her class. "You coming or what?" She glanced back at Y/N. She saw that Y/N was still thinking about Luca.

"Everything's gonna be fine, Y/N. Let's go" she said. Y/N followed her back and went to her class.

After all their classes ended, Y/N and Chaeyoung sneaked into the cafeteria and stole some food for Luca. They went to the secret location and removed the box. Luca whimpered when he smelled the food.
