tw: mention of bullying and suicide
Today was THE worst day in (Y/n)s life for sure. First, he forgot his school stuff, then, during lunch break, his classmates bullied him, like always and even after doing the only thing that brought him happiness, which was writing letters to his crush without ever sending them, his bullies found the letter and read it to EVERYONE, even his crush.
Currently, around noon, (Y/n) was curled up into a tiny ball, hiding in between a huge amount of rocks by the beach, which covered him fully. He cried. Sometimes loud and when people passed by he was quiet. His nose hurt and his eyes were so swollen he could barely open them at all.
At the time where the sun was starting to set he finally heard his name being called, which he expected at some point. „(Y/n)? It's me, Hiroo. Come out please?", he heard a rather bored, but worried voice say.
(Y/n) crawled from his little hiding place and saw Hiroo standing close by the rocks. „I'm here, Hiroo...", mumbled the still crying teenager silently. Hiroo turned to him and made his way over to him, immediately hugging him.
(Y/n) began to cry worse as the ravenette held him and tried to calm him down a bit. At some point, they sat inside (Y/n)s hiding place again, talking about everything except for school. The sun had already set and it was now dark, but they could still see the stars in the sky, which they usually talked about in these situations.
„You see that bright star up there? I bet it'll be yours when you die.", were the words of the (h/c)-haired male. Hiroo laughed before he shook his head. „No, it's yours. It can't be mine. I'm way to normal for that."
(Y/n) gave Hiroo a gentle hit on the shoulder. „You're not normal. You're pretty unique. I mean, you're so much better than all those normal people.", said the male.
Hiroo laughed and leaned on (Y/n) a bit. „Sometimes I feel like you could cure my depression." (Y/n) laughed. „I wish I could. I like seeing you happy."
Other people would've thought they're dating, but they're way more than that. They were soulmates. Soulmates don't always have to fall in love and they were the kind who didn't. They were soulmates, but not dating. They were partners in crime. The person they'd kill and die for. But not lovers.
A while later Hiroo had fallen asleep and (Y/n) just kept watching thesky and the stars until he fell asleep himself.
Thenext day, when (Y/n) woke up, the sun was already high up in the sky, which meant it was probably short before noon. The (h/c)-haired malegasped and woke up his best friend. „Hiroo! We gotta go home!"
Hirooonly hummed as he sat up and rubbed his eyes as (Y/n) already stoodup, brushing off the sand off his butt. Hiroo carefully stood up anddid the same. Shortly after they went home.
(Y/n)already regretted his decision to not go with Hiroo, since the firstthing that happened when he walked in wasn't a 'Hello, (Y/N)! Youwere gone so long. Are you okay?' or '(Y/n) we were worried sick!'
Thefirst thing he heard was this: "(Y/n)! For god's sake. You idiotseriously stayed out all night? You better didn't get fucking drunkotherwise you'll get an ass beating you've never had before!"
Themale sighed. „No, dad. I didn't get drunk, I-" His fatherinterrupted him by hitting him right across the face. „Shut up andgo take care of your sister! And how often did I tell you not to callme dad when we don't have visitors!"
(Y/n)bit his lip as he only nodded. When his father was gone he went tohis sister. She couldn't see him, so it was no problem for him tocry. He just had to be quiet. His sister had other plans though.
