I woke up in a happy mood which was odd but I wasn't going to fight it. I was packing my things and my mood quickly dropped when I remembered the book on my desk. I frowned as I placed it in my bag and walked out of my room.

Before I left I checked to make sure my mom and Sophia were still asleep. Thankfully, they were and I was able to change and get out of the house quickly. As I was walking, it started to rain-, no not rain- pour.

I love the rain but this was like going to a water park. I ended up running to my class and walked in soaking wet. I was dripping all over the floor when Ms. Arrows saw me.

"I see you got caught outside" She said jokingly while she got me a towel to dry off.

"Is it that obvious?" I replied with the same joking attitude.

I dried off while we talked for a while joking about my crazy class and the weather. I was eventually pretty dry and it was just in time because my classmates started walking in.

We were continuing presentations and thankfully my group already went two days ago because I don't think I would be able to focus on much at the moment. The bell rang meaning we have to go to the next class but the rain hasn't stopped. If anything it has gotten heavier and there is thunder and lightning battling in the sky.

Knowing I had to go to the other building for my next class I asked Mr. Arrows if I could take the towel she gave me. She said yes of course because she doesn't want me dripping wet all day.

I got to the door and speed-walked to my next class. Now I have psychology with Mr Crazy- I mean Mr Wood. I pulled my homework out of my folder and put it on his desk. He looked at me, acting as if he was shocked that I did it.

I ignored his rude, shocked expression and walked to my seat. For the second day our teacher rambled on about mental abuse and how it can occur without anyone including the victim being aware of it. I was zoned out for most of the period as usual because nothing that he said in the class was really important and he literally gives us the exact test and answers as a study guide so it didn't really matter.

The bell rang and I walked into the hallway hoping to see Aaron but I didn't. I thought he might just be running late so I started to walk to class. I looked over my shoulder to see if he was behind me and I walked into someone again. Two days in a row. Which poor soul did I smash into this time? Let's find out, shall we.

"You really got to stop doing this Nixie. Two days in a row really?" Aaron said while I was thanking god I bumped into him and not someone else.

"Maybe this is my new daily routine?" I said jokingly as we walked to class.

We went to Biology and today was the day we had to hand in our projects. Our teacher was going to pick random ones to present for the class and I was praying it wasn't me and Aaron.

Usually Aaron presents first so either we will go first again or he will give us a break. Thankfully he gave us a break and we had time to talk while the other groups presented.

"So, did you read my text and ignore it or did you not see it at all?" Aaron whispered to me knowing I read the book last night and that's why I am so jittery.

"I read it but I couldn't help it. It's like the book was calling my name telling me I had to read it. I needed answers, you know that" I said hoping and knowing he would understand.

"I know, but will you at least tell me what you found out?" He looked at me waiting for my response.

I didn't want to say anything out loud because my classmates are known for being nosy and I couldn't take that chance with something like this. I took out the book and opened up to page 20. Where it said that I had to break the system and that I couldn't trust anyone.

I pointed out the section, Aaron read it and then reassured me that he would stick with me if I wanted to do this. It's nice to know I'll have at least one person that isn't going to try to kill me.

I still didn't want to bring him into this but I might have to. I don't mind putting my life on the line for this but I care about him. I don't think he fully understands that saying yes to this is basically a sucide mission.

I looked back and Aaron hoped to see some kind of regret or worry about that but I saw nothing except for determination. He was really going to do this with me. Just as the last project finished the ball rang. I looked at Aaron.

It's time to talk to Mr. Moon and see what, if anything, he knows. Aaron took my hand and promised he would stay by my side. We went to class and Mr. Moon was at his desk. The minute I walked in our eyes locked. I walked closer to him and started squeezing Aarons hand tighter and tighter.

"I found that book you suggested" I said, my voice shaky but my stance firm.

"Is it a yes or a no my dear?" He most likely knew I was going to do it.

"Yes, but I want to know why and how you knew about it" I looked at him and he sighed.

"Let's just say I found the book on accident one day. I am also willing to help you if you need it" He said looking straight at me, then at Aaron, then back at me.

Aaron started pulling my hand towards our seat and I couldn't stop shaking. I was trying to relax but it seemed impossible. Mr. Moon knows about this and knows that any of us can get killed if we agree to do this.

We are being told to break into the government and destroy the dot system. We are going to have to figure out how it works first but still. This is a long process and the chances of us all surviving is very slim.
