Sophie POV:

As I held onto Fitz, he softly swayed me back and forth. I kept my eyes closed, taking everything in, and letting everything bad out. We stayed like that for the rest of the song, taking in each others presence and enjoying the moment.

Once the song was over, I looked up at Fitz and smiled. He looked down at me and smiled, and kissed my check. I smiled, and rested my head against his chest.

I felt Fitz's head lean down towards mine, but I decided to keep my position.

"Hey." Fitz whispered into my ear.

"Hi." I whispered back, smiling.

"I love you."

My eyes shot open, and I looked into Fitz's eyes. His teal blue eyes, that I grew to love. Love. Did I really love Fitz? The question I should be asking first, is what is love? Its a feeling someone makes you feel, a feeling that makes you feel happy. Love is when your heart races and you get butterfly's in your stomach when you see that person, or even think about them. Love is pure, love is making sacrifices for someone. Love is wanting the best for someone, and I want the best for Fitz. I want him to be happy, and I'm happy around him.

I looked deeper into Fitz's eyes, the eyes that tell a story. The eyes that show emotion, the eyes that showed me a new world. My new home. "I love you too."

Fitz smiled the biggest smile I've ever seen, which made my smile grow. I laughed a little in happiness, and then Fitz removed his hand from my wait and gently grabbed my check, pulling me in for a kiss. I didn't resist and moved into the kiss. The kiss sent tingles down my spine, making me feel electrified. It started as a gentle kiss, but we soon deepened it. Well, we deepened the kiss until we heard someone laughing from near by. We both looked over to see what was happening, and saw Dex handing Biana $10.

"Were they-" I paused, looking at the two of them.

"Betting on us?" Fitz finished for me, still smiling. "Yeah."

"I can't believe them!" I said, laughing.

I looked up to Fitz again, and noticed him smiling at me weirdly. Weirdly makes it sound bad, differently is a better description.

"What?" I asked, searching his face for some clues.

"Just admiring you and wondering how I got so lucky."

I smirked. "You did get lucky, but not as lucky as me."

Fitz pulled me back in for another kiss, and I swear I heard Biana make a small cheer, but this time we didn't stop the kiss.

~~~Time Skip~~~
Fitz and I danced for another song, which was slightly faster. We stopped dancing because I kept tripping, but Fitz wasn't angry about it. Instead, he helped me get back up and continued to dance with me, until I got tired and needed to sit down.
"Who knew dancing could be such a workout?"
Fitz chuckled. "I don't think slow dancing is supposed to be a workout."
I playfully hit Fitz's shoulder and pretended to pout. "Shut up."
Fitz laughed and I smiled. I dropped my gaze to the floor, thinking about everything that had happened so far at the dance.
"Hey, you okay?" Fitz asked, pulling up on my chin so I wasn't looking at the ground any more.
I smiled, "Never been better."
Fitz smiled and then stood up. "I'm gonna go get us some drinks."
"Be quick!"
Fitz walked away, and I watched the other couples on the dance floor. The normal couples, something I would never get. But who cares? Normal is boring.If you're normal you'll never stand out like you were born too. I saw Keefe and Olivia standing on the side of the dance floor, drinks in hand and talking. Biana and Dex were now dancing, so were Linh and Wylie. Tam and Marella however, were no where in sight. I wonder what they were doing.
