Author's Note: *raises arms in triumph* I'm almost finished. Just two or so parts left to go! Man, I haven't had to write a fight in a good while, but it's still pretty good practice. I've got a lot of oneshots planned, but I really do feel like I should get Catty finished before I work on them.

Who knows, if I get Catty finished, then maybe I can get some parts to Masked submitted? Only time with tell, obviously.

 Enjoy!

 Scar's POV:

I coughed a couple of times as I gave the now empty bottle back to Jason. The vampire nodded and tucked both the bottle and the parchment into his bag.

" Now what?" I questioned as Jason crossed his arms, " We wait." he answered as we both stood up.

It wasn't long; Maybe a few minutes for her to appear before us.

The woman, no, I guess I should call her by her true nature, Palandra stared at Jason and let out a hiss. She slowly turned towards the vampire, " I thought I left you out in the sun to crisp..." she growled.

" Yeah, well, a beam of light may kill other species of vampires in one blow but not me." Jason growled back causing the cat woman to roll her glowing eyes. Quickly, she turned towards me and charged.

Upon instinct, and some panic , I dove out of the way of the tackle and rolled against the ground. My entire body was shaking as I picked myself up and stared at Palandra as she dug her claws into the ground as she slid across the ground.

" Can you idiots just stand still for one moment?!" Palandra snarled as she stood up; Her hands were now unclenched as she stared at me. I shook my head, " I don't really want my magic taken from me." I shrugged as the cat woman lunged at me again.

Once more, I avoided the attack. Even though the plans in motion, I can't allow her to take my magic so easily.

I continued to dodge the woman's attacks until an icicle stabbed through my leg. With a yell, I tumbled over myself and gasped as more icicles were thrown into me like I was a dart board. I looked at my communicator as the hearts that represented my health both turned blue and began to tick downwards.

The woman let out a soft laugh, " It's about time that you cooled down..." she purred as she jabbed her claws into my back. I yelped in pain and struggled to break out of the ice that kept me grounded.

 Then, I felt it.

A slow, gnawing pain as my vision began to blur. Eventually, the ice that stuck me to the ground began to thaw as some arms quickly scooped me up. I winched as I was lifted into the air and taken to the rooftop of a building at the bottom of the hill.

" We didn't plan on you fighting her." Jason sighed with a shake of his head. The vampire's wings flapped slightly as he made them disappear into his back. I frowned, " Well, I didn't want her to become aware of our plans, ya know?" I tensed up as Jason put his hand to my back.

Soon, a burning sensation covered my back causing me to twitch slightly, but I couldn't move away.

I grumbled and continued to twitch as Jason slowly appeared in my peripheral. My entire body felt drained as he smiled softly, " I've managed to heal your back injuries, but the freezer burn on you's gonna have to wait."

I nodded, " What's... happening with... Cat woman?" I questioned as Jason slowly dragged me over to the edge of the rooftop and helped me sit up. The two of us looked down towards the cat woman as she started to laugh hysterically.

A strong wave of magic came from down below and nearly knocked me back onto my back, but Jason managed to shield it with one of his wings.

When the wing went back, I quickly leaned back as a large, glowing form had now appeared. I blinked a couple of times, " W-What?" I questioned as the glow turned into a three-headed, giant monster that towered over the buildings and castle while still standing on the hill.

" The true form of Palandra: The World Conqueror." Jason narrowed his eyes. The monster's three heads let out a loud series of roars that caused the windows of the buildings to shatter. I flinched and forced my aching arms to cover my ears as the roars grew closer.

" W-When will the poison kick in?" I questioned. Jason's ears twitched, " When a minute passes." he answered as he motioned his head towards the other building. I slowly moved to look towards the building as four lights started to glow brightly and raise into the sky.

Soon, I could hear the sound of rockets as the lights began to fly at high speeds towards Palandra. The monster would roar again as the lights danced around and some blood would begin to spill from multiple sword cuts.

After the sword slashes, there was a blast of steaming water from one of the lights; each blast of water was aimed towards a cut. Now, there were gaping holes in the beast that had steam escaping from each of them.

My eyes widened as something unbelievable, well, more unbelievable than everything else, happened: Palandra's wounds were healing.

" Their attacks were useless??" I gasped. Jason shook his head, " Not useless: a distraction."

The vampire pointed to Palandra's eyes as all three sets began to glow. The monster's eyes continued to glow, " What h a ve yo u wretched w o r m s done?" the main head spoke with a loud, rumbling growl.

Palandra looked around as the four balls of light repeated the same striking pattern. This time, however, the long scratches dug deeper into the flesh and actually drew a good amount of blood. I gagged and slowly tried to put my hand over my mouth.

I say tried because I... I was losing the ability to move my limbs. When I tried to move, an aggressive shiver shot up my spine causing me to curl up slightly. Jason looked over at me, " You're alright..." he whispered, " Everything's going to plan..."

Slowly, I nodded my head as I continued to watch the ensuing battle. The rightmost head of Palandra, the lizard-like head, started to smoke; it smelled like a tire on fire.

I gagged and slowly dug my nose into my shoulder.

 This was horrible.

Still, I needed to watch this battle; I both don't want to miss anything, and I need to tell the others about all this.

I slowly lifted my head and cringed at the horrid smell. The lizard head's smoke continued to build up until an orange-y glow came from its maw.

Then, as soon as it opened its mouth,

 BAM!

A giant blast of water came from one of the balls of light and went straight into the monster's mouth causing its head to flail crazily. Eventually, the head would lower to the beast's chest.
