Author's Note: At long last, the narrative is here everyone. It took me a good while to get to a point where I was happy to submit this, and now we're here. This prologue is actually two-three parts long. The longest prologue so far if I get it to three parts...

I'm starting work on the 'Christmas special' that I'm working on. In all honestly, I don't think it'll be ready for Christmas so that's why I put it in quotation marks.

Anyways, watch out for a roaming wolftiger with antlers, back hooves, and a deer tail. There's no particular reason for this warning, but if you do see one. Don't make it mad or touch its antlers.

 Enjoy the new story though!

(Set in Woltria at the late hours of the night.)

 Grian's POV:

A yawn escaped from me as my feathers fluffed up. The waning moon was high in the sky as clouds rolled overhead.

I raised my glasses and rubbed at my eyes as I slowly dragged my feet through the grounds of the castle that belonged to Mighty.

" W-Where are we going?" I questioned as I put my glasses properly on my face. Mighty turned towards me and gave me a tired look, " A certain Irishman accidently teleported into Woltria, and he's pretty delirious; I don't think he can control his powers correctly."

 Certain Irishman?

 Ah, right.

 That Daniel guy.

The new Watcher that, like me and...him... were once fully human. I shuffled slightly, " Where is he?" I questioned as Mighty pulled a lever in a long hallway and motioned down the many winding stairs that delved into darkness.

" He and I agreed to put him into a magic weakening cage. " Mighty spoke with a small yawn as we started to walk down the stairs. One by one, the blue lanterns overhead slowly flashed on as we walked. Mighty put a mask on and shook slightly.

The hybrid's ears twitched as we stopped at some sort of gigantic library. Mighty stopped so I could look inside. At one of the tables in front of the grand fireplace, two men and a cat were reading from a book encased in a rotting leather.

Just how old are some of the books in here?

My wings flapped causing Mighty to squint towards me before leaning away. I looked back at her and blinked, " Oh goodness. Sorry, I forgot about the whole allergy thing." I sheepishly crossed my arms.

Mighty shook her head, " It ain't that man." Mighty motioned all around us, " Have you seen how big this hallway is without the opening into the library?" I looked around, " Ah, right." I chuckled causing Mighty to make her own little amused sound.

" What's with the mask then?" I questioned as Mighty's ears lowered, " Feather allergies and also the amount of dust in these halls." she answered and put two fingers against the stone wall. The hybrid dragged her fingers down one of the bricks and slowly pulled it back in order to show me.

A thick layer of dust and grime that seemed thicker than soup was on the two digits. I shuddered slightly, " Yeah, I can see why you would need a mask."

" Do you have a spare mask?" I questioned as Mighty nodded and gently pulled a box of them out of her hoodie pocket. I took the mask and put it on then readjusted my glasses. My tail feathers spread out as I stared into the library, " Before we go see RT, who're the two guys and the cat at that table over there?"

The hybrid let out a sigh, " Thomas and Jason Phillips. A pair of brothers that spend waaaay too much time reading." she waved her hand as she explained, " Speaking of which, I need to go tell 'em to go home."

I stood in the doorway as Mighty trudged over to the table. The two men were still heavily engrossed in their book until Mighty leaned on the table and let out a low growl causing the grey, cracked-skinned man with ginger hair yelped and morphed into a bat causing the cat to hiss and leap off of the table.

The cat, while it passed me, stared with glowing eyes before sprinting up the stairs and towards the exit to the tunnel. I tilted my head then shook it and returned my attention to Mighty and the two men.

The bat flew onto the black-haired man's head and whimpered. The man closed the book and placed it into his bag.

" Mighty, you didn't need to be scare us to get our attention." The man frowned as he fixed his glasses. Mighty shoved her hands into her pockets, " Well, Thomas, you need to go home. It's almost.....," Mighty looked towards the giant clock above the fireplace, " Ten pm? Yeah, let's just go with Ten pm..." she shrugged.

Thomas looked up at the clock and gasped, " So it is!" he took his bat brother off of his head and put him into his bag, " Night!" he waved as he sprinted out of the room and up the stairs. If I didn't move fast enough, then I would've been plowed over.

Mighty walked back over to me with a sigh. The two of us nodded our heads and continued down the stairs. On the next floor, Mighty pushed a button and the iron door opened. As soon as I stepped foot into the room, a wave of magic struck me like an anvil.

I stuck my head and flapped my wings in the open space of the room.

Behind a glass wall, RT was curled up in the corner and wrapping his wing around himself. Occasionally, he would turn his head to the side, blink a couple of times, then go back to laying against the wall.

" How did he agree to be put behind this glass wall? He looks terrible." I crossed my arms causing Mighty to look over at me, " That was before he blacked out for the first time." she frowned. I stared at her with widened eyes, " The first time??"

Mighty's ears twitched, " Just... help me man... I don't know a thing about Watchers.... I've got enough problems already."

I walked over to the glass door and punched in the code that Mighty told me. My wings fluffed up as I frowned, " What're your problems mate?" I questioned as the glass door slowly opened into Dan's room.

The hybrid's shoulders drooped as she rubbed her eyes, " Ah, some people from my world have gone missing, and there's an escaped magical convict on the loose. There's no correlation between the two, by the way."

 " Jeez."

 " Exactly."

I leaned down next to the man and gently took his arm from him; he didn't react. A long purple mark coiled around his arm like a snake and glowed slightly.

My wings flapped as I frowned, " Well, let's first get started to patching up these burn wounds. After, we can give him some healing potion and wait for him to wake up fully."

The two of us nodded our heads as Mighty worked on gathering the medical supplies while I worked on getting the tired, delirious man into a more comfortable and face-forward position.
