You weren't really sure where you were, you just knew to run.

Run, run ,run, as fast as your little legs could take you.

How did you get here? Where are you going? Everything around you seemed to move so fast, yet your legs felt like they were walking through quicksand. Men's shouts and bellows rung out from behind, fueling your adrenaline and driving your fear to the sun. They were laughing, mocking, even.

Your heavy breathing was the only thing keeping you grounded. Flashbacks of blood and knives and horrible things you couldn't even imagine before now reeling inside your mind, trapping it in a constant state of panic and terror.

"We'll get you if it's the last thing we do!!" One of the men roared, his thundering footsteps ringing uncomfortably in your ears. Your limbs felt like they were on fire. Every breath seemed like you were underwater. Gasping and choking on air, you ran and ran and ran and ran.

To your horror the men seemed to be getting closer and closer, taunting you with threats that will surely be fulfilled. You moved impossibly slow, feelings of despair enveloped your mind. You tried crying out for help but no sound came out, and no help came. The trees loomed over you ominously, their branches twisting and turning, seemingly alive and against you.

You let out an inaudible scream as the man in lead tackled you to the ground, his voice was louder than anything in the world. His face was dark and blurry, distorting itself every second that ticked by. You stared wide eyed up at whatever was holding you down. His nasty grin stretched from ear to ear, and his friends whooped and hollered, as if they'd just taken down their prey. As if it was a successful hunt.

The man holding you down let out a malicious laugh. His eyes bore into yours. You couldn't look away, you couldn't move, couldn't shout, couldn't stop the endless nightmare.

"Found you...!" He sang above you. The world started to fade to black as he was choking you, you struggled against his ever powerful hands but to no avail. The man's chuckles echoed, continuing even after there was nothing left in you.

You tried to breath but your lungs wouldn't work. You sat there suffocating in the chorus of wicked laughter, slowly losing all the fight inside.

And then there was nothing.

You jolted awake, sitting up instantly with wide eyes. Panting, you lightly touched your hand to your face, flinching when you felt tears stream down your cheeks. You gripped the blanket draped over you and continued to breathe heavily until your tears were dry and your body stopped trembling.

You've been having these nightmares ever since you arrived in the east, and at this point you were even scared to fall asleep.

It's just a dream. I'm fine. You tried convincing yourself, but it didn't help much. This was too vivid, and all too real.

After a couple moments you recollected yourself and calmed down for the most part, though a rustle in the trees nearby made you flinch slightly. Today was the day that Zen had ordered you to patrol the town with Obi. Sighing, you slipped out of bed and got ready. You just hoped that these nightmares simply meant nothing, and that they wouldn't hinder your work.

It was pretty early in the morning, and it seemed like the sun had just risen. You and Obi were scheduled to set out at around 8 am, and come back before sunset. Just another hour, You thought to yourself as you unconsciously made your way to the cafeteria. What should I do in that time?

You entered the cafeteria and blinked when you saw Zen casually talking to a couple of the older soldiers. Zen looked over from his conversation, noticing you standing awkwardly at the doorway.
