¨(Y/N)'S STILL SLEEPING MOM!¨ Lymani shouted from the hallway.
Those words scared you awake. When you jolted up you noticed your brother and sister staring at you, laughing.
You quickly hopped out of bed and ran to grab jeans from your dresser. It was stuck.
¨Open damnit.¨ You whispered to yourself desperately.
When you finally got it open you felt something strike your back. You fell to your knees.
¨When will you learn your lesson (Y/N)? When will you finally be perfect like your sister and brother? Tell me when you do so that the chopping board can finally go in the kitchen where it belongs.¨ Your mother said as if she was the most caring mother.
You heard these words often.
¨GET OFF YOUR ASS AND GET READY!¨ She yelled at you.
You wanted to sit there and cry until the pain went away but that would only make it worse. You slowly stood to your feet. You watched them all walk away. You wouldn't dare say anything under your breath but you wanted to.
You dressed as quickly as you could, making sure nothing touched your tender back too rough. You then threw on a hoodie to hide your new bruise along with the others.

You brushed your teeth and did your hair. You grabbed your phone, laptop and TV remote along with your backpack.
¨Put it on the counter with the other stuff then go outside so we can leave¨
You place your stuff on the kitchen counter next to your headphones, sanitary pads, teddy bear and tablet. You run out the door with your academic bag in your hand.
When you get outside to the driveway you notice your siblings arguing.

¨I don't want to sit by (Y/N)!¨
¨Well too bad, I sat by her yesterday so its your turn now.¨
This went on for about 5 minutes before your mother came outside and yelled at you about annoying the twins. You just kept quiet because this usually kept her happy. You ended up sitting next to Lyman because your mother took up for Lymani.

When you arrived at the school you made your way to your locker. Words were plastered across the walls like ¨WE THE CHAMPIONS¨ and ¨LOUIS LAUREL HIGH SCHOOL! HOME OF THE LIONS!¨
When you open your locker a note falls out. The note read:
¨It's HARPER. I have big news. Text 'Taddies' to find out. Also Tiana asked you to send a picture of your homework. She says she has English 2nd period so send it ASAP. That's all.
