"What did I say?" she spoke scooting slightly forward feeling him bite the tip of her earlobe.

"Seriously?" derek questioned, clearly hoping her previous statements had been a joke.

"Seriously" meredith retorted placing her hand on top of his, guiding it away from her breast.

"Seriously" he moaned in return, clearly not taking her statements as truth.

"Seriously. We're taking it slow."

"I can take it slow." derek replied trailing his hand down her thighs "I can take it incredibly slow" he whispered in her ear,darting his tongue out before he motioned for her to spread her legs for him.

"We're taking it slower than that. We're starting fresh." meredith whined against him.

Maybe taking a bath together hadn't been the best idea because at that very moment, how could she resist him

"And starting fresh means no sex because..."

"Because we started with sex last time, and it didn't go very well" she stated "Plus, the waiting is fun.

And we need fun.

From now on I want to be bright and shiny."

"Bright and shiny, huh?" derek replied
"I can help you with that" he continued before she interrupted him, turning around slightly saying "i'm sure you can dr. shepherd...but not right now" she finished before getting out of the tub, walking out of the bathroom fully naked.

She really was going to be the death of him.
