Author note: I am so sorry for not updating my aunt recently passed away and I've been pretty upset I also had lots of homework so sorry bout that love you guys.
Chloe's pov
We were going back to school in 3 days. I was kind of nervous I don't know why I just always get nervous. Today for dinner were all going on a big older kids date. it was like semi fancy type of thing. I was in the middle of doing Nia's hair when the doorbell rang.
"Who could that be?" I asked. I ran downstairs and opened the door.
"MACKENZIE!" I screamed so loud.
"Hi Chloe." She said while giving me a hug.
"What are you doing here you moved to Palm Springs?" I asked
"We did. I came to visit. Were going on a tiny road trip before school starts. We were in the area so we stopped so I could say hi." She said
"Well come upstairs and say hi to the girls." I said
"Guys look who I found." I said
"MACKENZIE!" Nia Paige and Kendall screamed. Brooke never met Mackenzie because Mackenzie moved away when we were 7 and Brooke moved here when we were 8. Maddie just joined the group so she didn't know her either. The girls were all hugging Mackenzie. when they let go they were just talking.
"Hi I'm Brooke and this is Maddie." Brooke said
"Hi I'm Mackenzie." Mackenzie said
"Hey give us your number so we can talk and facetime." I said. We all exchanged numbers.
"So what are you guys doing?" Mackenzie asked
"Getting ready for a date." I said while doing Nia's hair while she applied her makeup.
"Oh can I help?" She asked
"Of course you can do my hair, just give me a sec. You don't mind right Nia?" I asked
"No I had no idea what I was going to do so its all good." Nia replied
"K Kenzie you can start if you want." I said while Nia got out of the chair and I got into it. I watched as Mackenzie did my hair and she did a great job.
"Well guys I gotta go love you." Mackenzie said
"Aw bye Mack we love you." Paige said
We all gave her hugs and promised to speak in the future. We all finished getting ready for our date and left. The boys were all hanging out at Jill's house so my mom drove us to our date while Jill drove them.
"Thanks for the drive." I said while getting out of the car. We walked into Chez Whitney.
Kendall's pov
I walked up to Chez Whitney. Josh grabbed my hand and gave me a kiss.
"You look stunning babe." He said
"Thanks you don't look too bad yourself." I said
"I love you K." He said while giving me a small peck
"I love you too Joshie." I said. I grabbed his hand and we walked into chez Whitney. I sat beside Josh and Maddie.
"Hi I'm Katie. What can I get you guys?" Katie said
We all ordered whatever we wanted and I was just having a conversation with Josh.
"So you excited for school?" I asked
"I'll never be because I'm just not, but school is the place where I met the most amazing girl in the whole world. Kendall K Vertes shes beautiful and she means everything to me." Josh said
"Aw I love you so much Joshie more then you could even imagine." I replied
"I love you too k." He replied
Soon our food came and we started eating. We finished eating and payed the bill. We all started walking towards a park.
"Hey our parents won't be picking us up for another twenty minutes." Chloe said
I sat down on a tree next to Josh just talking about his life.
"So I don't mean to put you on the spot but what ever happened to your parents?" I asked. I had asked this question hundreds of times he just never answered.
"Well around a year ago my parents and I got into a big fight. They were saying that I will never become anything I said that they were the reason why. They never payed for things because they payed for drugs. My dad slapped me and kicked me out. I left I ran as far as I could straight to were Nick was. We both then got jobs and got an apartment. A week after that I was looking at the newspaper my parents were dead from an overdose. I was not upset or anything I felt absolutely no emotion and that's what happened." Josh said
"I'm sorry I made you say that." I said
He gave me a hug and started kissing me. He pulled away.
"You would have found out sooner or later so it's ok." He whispered. He began to kiss me again.
"I love you." I said
"I love you too." He said
