Paige's pov
Christi was about to announce the living arrangements.
"Alright so Jill and I were talking and we've decided that Paige will live with me and Brooke will live with Kendall." Although it's hard to not be living with my mom anymore I am happy that I get to live with Chloe. She is my best friend.
"So when will we start to move?" I asked
"Probably in a couple of days like tomorrow or the next." Christi said. I nodded
The rest of the night we just talked about good memories with my mom and Brooke's parents.
" I remember when we were at that picnic and we were doing a race with parents but my mom wasn't there so I got to go with your mom and we fell and started laughing our heads off" Nia said. We just ate pizza and laughed at some memories.
Brooke's pov
I was happy I got to live with Kendall. I felt bad for the guys though none of them really have a mom or a dad that they're close with. My boyfriend Nolan's parents are never around and are always traveling he told me the last time he saw them was five years ago. My best friend Kevin's parents haven't spoken to him since he was ten. Chloe's boyfriend Nick's parents are dead so he works at a job and uses money from his parents will to pay for an apartment and Kendall's boyfriend Josh lives with him and helps pay rent. Brandon Paige's boyfriend lives secretly in Nolan's house since his parents send him money to pay for food and stuff.
Nia's pov
I was kind of upset my mom couldn't let anyone stay with us. I understand we live in a small apartment but still. I'm worried I'm gonna get forgotten. I don't know I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens.
The next day
Chloe's pov
Today Paige is moving to my house. I'm so excited. I can tell she's happy about the living arrangements but I can still tell that she's sad about her mom. We were packing up Paige's house when we were done it just looked so empty.
"Paige you gonna be ok?"
"Yeah I'll be ok. I mean I'll always miss my mom but I can't spend the rest of my life wasting time in the present thinking about the past." Paige said
The house was empty Paige and I were standing there.
"Well I guess we should go." I said quietly.
"Yeah I guess so." Paige responded.
Paige's pov
Marc was driving the moving truck while Christi was driving Chloe and I to their I mean our house. It was so weird seeing my house I mean my old house so empty. I grew up there I have so many memories there and now someone else will be living there. I walked into Chloe's I mean my new house. I had stepped through that door so many times but this time just seemed different. Chloe showed me to my new room. It was a blue room which was good all I didn't want was a pink room because that was the colour at my old house. I looked at the walls above my bed was a big heart made out of pictures. I looked at each one then I got to this one that made me so touched it was my mom and I sitting on a couch, she was tickling me in the picture. I smiled it reminded me of how we were and I'll always treasure that. I turned to Chloe and have her a big hug.
"Hey can one of you help me." Marc said
Chloe rushed over. They then came up the stairs and were bringing up my dresser. After my mom died I got all brand new furniture with my money from selling the old furniture. I couldn't bare to see all the things that my mom has gotten me. Most people would treasure every item and I treasure the important ones that's all I need to treasure. Chloe came down and sat beside me I knew this was the perfect time to ask her this question.
