Brooke's pov
Kendall went and answered the door. I couldn't see who it was but I know just from the voices. It was all of our boyfriends. I immediately ran up to my boyfriend Nolan and drenched his dark blue hoodie with my tears he just let me cry. I think we stood there for five minutes just crying. My best friend who was dating Nia came over and put my hand on his shoulder I looked up and stared into his dark brown eyes. Kevin. Kevin has been my best friend since we were four my mom used to say we were inceprable. (I know Kevin is like 18 and Nia is 13 but just imagine) he's like my brother. I pulled away from Nolan and we sat on a couch when I looked everyone else was sitting down as well. The silence was very awkward and I hated it. So I just said the first thing that popped into my head.
"Did you guys know that ducks and armadillos hate each other." Everyone looked confused and then they all started to die laughing. This was more like us.
"Hey do you guys mind if I call up Maddie to come over since ye know." Paige said
"Yeah of course Paige go a head." I replied.
Maddie was Paige's good friend she has known her I think since she was seven Chloe told me that she tried to get Maddie in the group but they didn't want another member and then I joined so she didn't really like that. We all like Paige it's just our group is perfect right now and we're doing fine we don't need another person. 10 minutes later Maddie arrived.
"Hi guys."
"Hi Maddie." We all responded
Maddie's pov
The girls didn't really want me in their group which was hard. I mean why I could see a whole bunch of reasons why I would be good for their group. They just don't want me that's all. I was sitting next to Paige trying to comfort her. When the door opened. It was all the girls parents well minus Brooke and Paige's.
Paige's pov
Christi came into the house and sat down.
"Hi girls and guys we brought some pizza and then we'll talk to you about the living arrangements." Christi said
Everyone silently got up and grabbed a slice of pizza and some breadsticks and sat down. We all sat silently and ate our food I looked around at my best friends. I loved how all of our personalities compliment each other. Nia was the quiet thinker, Kendall was the sporty polite tomboy, Chloe was the emotional one Brooke was the funny tough person everyone said that I was very supportive. I think if Maddie joined our group she would be a great addition because she is sweeter than chocolate cake but maybe right now isn't the best time.
Christi was about to announce the living arrangements.
