Choosing sides is the most dangerous thing.

"Aris, you have to tell me everything," Giselle insisted, pulling her into her house through the doorway, "I was calling you all last night, but you never answered."

Aris was met with an accusatory glare and slight pout from her friend as they walked through the house towards Giselle's bedroom.

It was the day after her disastrous date, and it was a Saturday, meaning Giselle hadn't taken no for an answer when inviting Aris over the next day.

They entered Giselle's room where they were then met with the rest of the people from their friend group; Bailey, Oliver, Benjamin, and Ashton. They all looked at Aris and Giselle expectantly as they entered the room, striding over to where everyone was seated on the bed.

"Since you didn't pick up my facetime calls last night, now you're going to have to tell everyone about it, when before you'd only have to tell me. So go on, we're waiting." Giselle urged.

Aris rolled her eyes, taking a seat on the bed and Ashton wrapping his arm around her shoulder like usual.

"I didn't pick up your calls 'Elle, because it was already nearly 10:30 by the time I got home, and I was horribly exhausted," she lied, "and no, it was not because we did anything other than eat dinner. Get your minds out of the gutter." She snapped, meeting her friend's smirks.

The truth was, she didn't answer Giselle's calls because she really didn't know what to say. She didn't wanna give all the details of what happened, but knowing Giselle, she'd try to get it out of her. Besides, her mood and patience was completely tarnished from Edward, so she just knew that she wouldn't be able to call her friend without losing her temper at Giselle's nosiness.

"The date was fine, Clay's really nice, but I still don't know him that well yet. Granted, we were interrupted by his sister being admitted to the hospital, so he had to leave earlier than planned, meaning I didn't really have much of a chance to get to know him." She shrugged.

Giselle rolled her eyes.

"Well then the answer is obvious, you go out with him again." She shrugged as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

'I mean, Edward did promise not to ruin another one of my dates,' she mused, 'but then again, when has he ever stuck to his word?'

"I dunno, I'll think about it." She hummed.

"Please tell me he at least paid for your food before leaving." Ashton voiced from beside her.

"Well, no, but-"

"Well you obviously can't date someone who doesn't pay for your food," Benjamin scoffed, "that's just common courtesy."

"In his defense," Aris's tone was harsh, letting everyone know that she was serious, "I wasn't there, I was in the bathroom, but I can only imagine that he was in quite a rush. The food wasn't there yet, and the waiter was nowhere to be seen, so it's not his fault."

"Wait, so he left without even saying goodbye, or letting you know where he was going?" Ashton inquired.

"Well, technically yes, but-"

"Ash, if he was in a rush and Aris was in the bathroom, it's not his fault. I'm sure he at least texted her, or left her a note." Bailey defended, causing everyone to look at Aris expectantly.

"Well... no, but-"

"Are you serious?" Benjamin cut her off, "He didn't even let you know that he was leaving? Throw the whole man away Aris-"
