"Hey Sophie!" Fitz greeted when she walked into his room, "Why are you here, I thought you were angry at me?"

"Well, I was angry at you but now I'm not!" she told him.

"Oh, okay." Fitz said, surprised.

"So.....what do you want to do?" Sophie asked him, changing the subject.

Fitz didn't notice, and suggested that they could work on cognate exercises.

"Sure," Sophie replied.

"Which one?" he asked.

"We could do the one where I tell you a secret and you tell me a secret that no one else knows about," Sophie suggested.

"Sure," he answered.

"I am allowed to enter your mind?" she asked.

He nodded.

(Fitz will be in bold and Sophie will be in Italics)

Are you going to go first?

Nope, you can go first!

I shouldn't have asked you. I guess that's what I get for asking.

Sophie grinned.

Well, you're going first anyway!

Fine!

I'm waiting.

Okay.......................Sophie I really want to tell you something that I've been hiding for a long time.

What is it?

You are a beautiful, smart, and amazing girl. I want to tell you that I still like you.

Really?

I still like you, Sophie. I really do.

FItz, I'm sorry but I don't like you in that way anymore. I'm just your friend and you are like a brother to me.

Oh

Fitz's smile fell.

Sophie felt bad but Fitz was only a brother to her now and she didn't like him as more than a friend.

"Well, bye! It was fun being here with you," Sophie lied.

"Wait, Sophie-" Fitz started but It was getting way too awkward between them. She left giving Fitz a quick wave.

"Hey honey!" Edaline greeted as she walked in, "I made dinner, your favorite dinner."

"Mom, I'm not that hungry. Can I just have dinner in my room today?" she asked.

Edaline's smile fell, "Oh, something happened didn't it? Ok, I will conjure it to your room,"

"Thanks mom," Sophie hugged her mom quickly and ran upstairs. She shut the door and just like that she was thinking about never coming out again.
