Chapter 6 ~ My POV

This is going to be in my POV!!!

I saw Sophie walking to Call's Panakes tree so I decided to join her and give her some important advice. I think everyone knows what I want to tell Sophie.

"Hey Sophie!" I greeted, cheerfully. She was deep in thought about something.

"Ummm......who are you and how do you know me?" Sophie asked suspiciously, looking up at me after a few seconds.

"I'm a girl from the forbidden cities, I'm secretly an Elf spy in training. Which means I spy on Elves in the lost cities," I told her, trying not to laugh.

"Ummmm.....Okay?" she scrunched her face, "An Elf spy? I have never heard of that,"

"Well, that's who I am. I know you don't trust me but I've watched you my entire life. I know everything about you and everything you've been through," I admitted.

"Well, don't you think that sounds scary? How do I know that you're not part of the Neverseen?" she asked, trying to be smart.

"If I was part of the Neverseen would I know that your biological mom is Oralie?" I asked, outsmarting her.

Sophie gasped, "What? You know that?"

"Yes, I do!" I exclaimed, trying to hide my smile ended up smiling anyways.

"How?" she asked, so startled that she almost fell backwards.

I had to smile. Sophie was still clumsy!

"I'm an Elf spy, that's my job! Why would I not do my job correctly?" I asked her.

"Okay, fine. I trust you then," she said, frustrated.

Wow, I thought. If Sophie trusts people who know her biological mom, then that means she trusts almost everyone that has read Kotlc. Well, Sophie doesn't know that her life is recorded in a book and she doesn't know that I'm actually not an Elf spy.

I laughed, quietly.

"Why are you here?" she asked, looking weirdly at me. I think I laughed too hard.

I smiled, "I came here to talk to you about your obliviousness."

"What?" she asked, confused.

I grinned like an idiot, "Well, who do you think likes you?"

"Fitz and maybe Dex," Sophie replied, thoughtfully.

"See, that's where you got it all wrong. You don't even know the person who loves you, even more than Fitz?" I told her.

"Who loved me more than Fitz?" Sophie asked me slowly, "Tell me, if you've been watching me my whole life then tell me,"

"I'll give you a hint, someone in your friend group," I gave her a hint. Hopefuly she would get it right this time!

"Tam, is it Tam? I thought he liked Biana!" Sophie stated.

"Why would Tam even like you? You even know who others' like but you can't figure out your own love life," I told her, shaking my head. "Oblivious, very very oblivious,"

I thought I could handle the obliviousness but it seems like I can't. It is already becoming too much.

Sophie sighed.

"I should be the one sighing, you don't even know that person who likes you. Actually he loves you and you love him back," I sighed.

"Well, I don't love anyone." Sophie protested strongly.

"Oh, you do," I said for sure.

"Who is it?" she asked, challengingly.

"I won't tell you, try to guess it." I told her.

"Is it Wylie? Is it Keefe?" Sophie asked, blushing without knowing it. "I don't even like them,"

"WHAT? YOU DON"T EVEN LIKE ONE OF THEM! YOU LOVE ONE OF THEM!" I yelled.

Sophie was shocked with my outburst. "I don't love Keefe!" she protested.

"How did you know that I was talking about Keefe?"

Sophie blushed crimson red.

"There's no denying it, Sophie! There's no denying it!" I told her.

"But-" Sophie started.

"You're blushing," I told her.

"Really?" Sophie tried to act surprised.

"Oh, Sophie. Just go confess. Stop being angry at him. He has been waiting for you for so long." I said.

"Wait, could everyone tell that he liked me?" she asked.

"Oh my god, Sophie! It is so much more obvious. Even more than Fitz and Dex." I literally had to scream.

"Oh," she said.

"Yeah, so go confess to him soon," I told her, "Go! Go confess!"

Without waiting for her to answer I leapt back to the forbidden cities to continue my "spying".
