chapter four

the sun rays went through the windows as jeongguk drank his coffee. he stared outside beautifully and wore his casual clothes and gave the sleeping taehyung a gentle kiss, leaving the house.

he decided to go to his office a little bit later for good. he kinda wants to hang out with his friend hoseok, maybe walking around the hospital looks good. he's gone for a year, so for sure, there are a lot of improvements inside.

"hey, there hope."

"hi, my dear friend. how are you?" hoseok smiled, as jeongguk made his way to his office before offering hoseok a walk.

there are a lot of people greeting them as they made their path. there is still some construction going on, 'till he noticed that a certain wide part of the hospital seems like getting a lot of the sun's brightness. turns out that the roof was made out of glass, and that amazed the hell out of him.

"i want to hang out."

"same. in your house?"

jeongguk chuckled and shook his head. hoseok pouted and punched his arm lightly.

"c'mon, we've been friends for a year now and i still haven't seen taehyung in person. you're only showing pics."

"he's asleep most of the time, y'know?"

hoseok just shrugged his shoulders and looked away, taking a sip of his drink. jeongguk couldn't help to cackle at his sight so he bumped his body on him purposely.

"fine. in the next two days, 'k? i'll tell tae."

hoseok squealed like a kid, walking-running 'till they saw his office again when they saw someone standing up in front of the door. jeongguk took a closer look and recognized who it was.

"oh, hey there yang sejong!" he bowed lightly, as the tall boy bowed at him and smiled.

"you didn't inform me you'll be back at seoul again, huh?"

the said man just giggled. jeongguk introduced hoseok to his co-doctor, and they talked about multiple things and stuff. they didn't even realize that the time strikes 3. soon, they felt someone's presence at their backs.

"dr. jeon?"

"ah, jimin. i'm sorry that i didn't notice you." he apologized but jimin just smiled and bopped his head as an assurance that it's fine.

"well, i guess i need to go now."

"sejong?"

"jimin?"

jeongguk looked at them in confusion, seeing the two stare at each other. hoseok narrowed his eyes to the men, rubbing his chin.

"y'all look so similar together."

"we're cousins." they both answered, as jeongguk nodded in amusement.

"anyway, can we go now dr. jeon?"

he nodded, and guided jimin inside. he gestured the two to continue to talk outside as he take care of his patient.

"how are you doing, jimin?"

"doing better. i'm pretty much surprised when i didn't have any panic attacks after talking to my patients. all thanks to you."

jeongguk grinned at him, writing down everything he said. after that, he explained a couple of things to the boy, how to control his fear and anxiety, and so on. it took them a good one hour to talk about that.

"and i hope this day helped. i'm wishing you well and to your mental health."

"yeah, thanks."

jimin was about to leave when he felt a hand tapping his arm, so he turned around.

"do you want to hang out or something? my friend told me he wanted to go to my house, wanna come too?"

he raised his eyebrows, face remained calm and plain. "of course. just tell me the address and when."

jeongguk nodded happily before waving his goodbye to jimin who walked out of his office. oh well, taehyung would love to see them.
