Chapter 9

Mew's pov

We're now walking in the halls to go our our classes. Me and the boys have the same 1st class since its homeroom.

I'm kinda excited to see them. Well Gulf, we grew closer ever since what happened the other day.

Now we're in our rooms waiting for our professor. Gulf and the others aren't here yet since we are kinda early.

"So you and Gulf settled everything?" Wat said while on his phone.

"Yeah we talked about it yesterday" I replied and I heard the bell rung. Then Gulf Tine and Type entered.

I looked at Gulf and saw his expression.

Blank?

Cold?

Then I looked over at Tines and Type's. They looked worried. Then Wat and Man looked at me confused.

"I thought you guys were okay? " Man asked whispering.

"We did, We talked about it yesterday" I replied whispering back.

Then Gulf and his friends sat in front of us. He didn't even take a single glance.

Then Type looked at us. I gave him a confused look but he just shrugged.

So he doesn't know what's going on.

Then the professor came and started his class. We were all silent. Nobody spoke to who.

An hour later our classes finished. Gulf stood up and went our of the room.

What is happening?

When Time and Type stood up I looked towards them.

"What happened?" I asked at them.

"We don't know, he was okay when we were in the penthouse this morning but when we arrived at school he looked cold, really cold" Tine replied worriedly.

I sighed.

"We were alright yesterday though, we talked about it already. I'm sure this is something else." I said grabbing my backpack.

They nodded. "Yeah maybe he'll come around later at lunch." Type said and I nodded.

We all got out of the room and went to our classes.

Lunch time came around. I went to the cafeteria and saw my friends. Gulf wasn't there yet but Tine and Type were.

I went over to the table. " Hey where's Gulf?" I asked.

"He said he needed to talk to someone then he'll go here" Tine said and I nodded. I went to get my food and then went to our table.

A few minutes later the cafeteria was quite. I looked over and saw Gulf with Lèo and one guy I have never saw in my entire life.

Gulf's pov

This is harder than I thought.

Ignoring Mew and the other A3. They were my friends but I can't risk it. If something happened to them I won't be able to forgive myself.

I told Lèo about the letter and he immediately sent it to his men to find the source but it was a dead end. Leo was furious.

I told him about my plan about ignoring the others. He didn't agree to it but then I explained it to him he agreed but he didn't like it.

Leo assigned one of his men to guard the others so that I won't be anxious. His gonna guard them personally.

The principal already knows my situation. Besides my friends the principal knows who I really am so he understood why I needed a guard.

But he doesn't know that it was not my guard but the others. He also doesn't know about who Lèo really is.

When we went to the cafeteria and everyone went quiet.

Probably because of the new face

I saw our table and went to them. There was an empty space near Mew where I usually seat but I sat next to Man.

They looked confused but I just shrugged it off. Lèo and the new 'student' sat as well.

"Guys this is Earth Pirapat an exchange student from France, his also my high school friend." Leo said.

I wanted to snort because of what he said.

Only if they knew.

They had their introductions and they talked for awhile. I didn't talk to anyone but I could feel Mew's burning gaze towards me.

I don't like it when I'm ignoring him but I have to. I won't let them be hurt.

The bell rung and we went to class. I didn't have class with any of my friends but I didn't mind.

Earth followed the A3 to their classes as he was guarding them.

The day went by fast and Tine and Type had late classes so I'm going home alone. While my guards will pick them up later.

I was walking in the parking lot when somebody pulled my wrist. I looked who it is and it's the man I was longing to touch and talk to. I kept my straight face.

"Gulf what's wrong? You've been avoiding me all day. Did I do something wrong? " He asked.

Only if he knew.

"No." I simply answer. He looked like he was hurt.

"Remember what you told me the other day?  When you told me that if your hurt, angry or confuse you'll make it better?  Gulf I'm here. I'm gonna do the same thing to you." He said.

I'm sorry

"I just said that to make you better Mew, I didn't want anyone to feel bad because of me, even when I did nothing wrong" I said coldly.

I know I'm gonna regret saying that.

"W-what? But I thought you felt what I felt? " He said stuttering.

Damn

"I didn't feel anything for you Mew, you know what I felt when I first saw you? That you were a cold hearted jerk and that's what you'll always be" I said looking at him at straight in the eyes. I looked at him and he was hurt and then angry.

"Fine, if thats what you felt then I'm gonna show you. See you tomorrow Kanawut." Mew said and he walked away.

My heart sunk.

If pushing you away will keep you safe then so be it.
