Sick person : Bokuto
Caretaker : Akaashi(Bokuto is sick, he texts Akaashi to come look after him)
3rd person POV
Ping—instead of Akaashi's usual 6 30am alarm it was a notification. It was loud and unusual enough for Akaashi to wake up. He's not a particularly heavy sleeper anyways. Akaashi grabbed his phone from the night stand—1 new message from Bokuto Koutarou. Huh, that's weird, Bokuto wakes up earlier than Akaashi, simply because he's way too excited to play volleyball on a Saturday morning.
But Bokuto wouldn't feel the need to text or bother Akaashi—not that Bokuto texting Akaashi annoys him. Akaashi opens up the message and furrows his eyebrows.
Bokuto
Kaashi..... I feel funny..That's weird—out of all Bokuto's possible triggers for his emo-mode Akaashi has never seen something like this. Akaashi has to think for a while to come up with what to say.
Akaashi
Is there something wrong Bokuto?Bokuto
Yeah, I feel funny...Akaashi
I'm not sure what you mean..Bokuto
It's my tummy... I woke up and it was really hurting but then I felt all funny :(Akaashi
Your tummy? It sounds like you're sick or might’ve ate something bad..?Bokuto
Can you please come over.... I hate feeling funny :((Akaashi
Sure Bokuto, I understand. I'll try get there as fast as possible.Akaashi chucked his phone on his bed, quickly picking out something suitable to wear—those being sweat pants and a hoodie. Akaashi then stuffed his phone in his pocket, stole a protein bar from the kitchen, slipped on some shoes, grabbed keys and wallet before he was out the door.
When Akaashi reached Bokuto's front door, he knocked 3 times and waited patiently. Akaashi forgot his patience after he heard no response. He thanked Bokuto for smartly giving Akaashi a pair of keys to his house and used them to open the door.
Akaashi didn't hear anything, only some rustling upstairs. Akaashi took his shoes off and made his way to Bokuto's bedroom. Akaashi creaked open the door, spotting an indent in the bed where Bokuto once laid. Akaashi then saw the light coming from the bathroom adjacent to the bedroom.
Akaashi rushed over and knocked on the bathroom door. "K-Kaashi?" Bokuto said from the other side, sounding like he's in tears. "Can I come in Bokuto?" Akaashi tried to keep composure but his brain was overflowing with possible reasons as to why Bokuto is like this. A little affirmative noise is all Akaashi needs before he opens the door.
And there he is—Bokuto—sitting on the floor in front of the toilet, hair droopy and face contorted is sadness and sickness. "Bokuto..." Akaashi says it in a way that makes Bokuto want to cry. Akaashi approaches Bokuto and places a hand on his back. "Have you thrown up?" Akaashi asks, Bokuto shakes his head.
"Nothing's coming u-up, Kaashi.. I feel really sick." Bokuto leans into Akaashi, feeling his stomach twist with each movement. Akaashi rubs his back, "poor thing, relax so you can have some relief." Akaashi feels Bokuto droop further and starts gently patting his back. Numerous hiccups and a couple burps escape.
Bokuto feels his mouth watering and the pats are only increasing his nausea, "s-stop, please—" Bokuto scrambles to the toilet, gagging and then finally throwing up. Akaashi winces for Bokuto when he makes a guttering noise.
