(Tsukishima is sick and stubborn so he doesn't tell his boyfriends when he doesn't feel the greatest)

3rd person POV

"Kei is this the one we usually get?" Kageyama asked, staring intensely at an item in his hands. "Yes" Tsukishima mumbled and Kageyama put the item in the basket Tsukishima had.

The two were at the grocery store after Yamaguchi begged the two to go. They didn't usually do the shopping but complied, Tsukishima was hesitant because when he woke up this morning he was not in any condition to go shopping.

His head spun and hurt from any form of light or movement, he felt way too hot in his shorts and hoodie but felt himself shake as if he was cold. He had zero appetite and looking at all the food in the shop wasn't helping the uneasiness he felt in his stomach.

Tsukishima watched as Kageyama stared at the list Yamaguchi gave them, "what the heck is worsh-sh-sheer sauce?" Kageyama said and Tsukishima rolled his eyes, "it's worcestershire sauce, it like adds flavour and shit you know?" Tsukishima doesn't mean to come off harsh but the ache in his head and stomach seemed to have made him a bit grumpy.

Tsukishima mainly just followed Kageyama around the store, a permanent scowl on his face and hands buried in his pockets. Once Kageyama stopped in front of a shelf to inspect it for something Tsukishima laid his forehead on Kageyama's shoulder. The spices that were on the shelf agitated his stomach and he felt like he was gonna hurl.

Kageyama did notice the weird behaviour of Tsukishima and the more than usual grumpiness. He couldn't lie, he was concerned. "Kei are you alright?" Kageyama asked, turning around so Tsukishima's head fell off his shoulder and he was face to face with his boyfriend.

Kageyama saw Tsukishima's eyes soften with something, Tsukishima wanted so badly to cuddle up with his boyfriends and let them coddle him with love, he knew telling Kageyama was the best thing to do. Once one of them knew it was game over. Plus he was starting to feel really bad, bad enough he couldn't hide it.

So Tsukishima shook his head no and tried to ignore the way everything seemed to spin with the movement. Some alarms went off his Kageyama's brain, firstly he usually doesn't admit that fast he's not okay.

Second being he doesn't actually know what's wrong with Tsukishima, he did a quick scan of his taller boyfriend, a bit pale but his cheeks were flushed. Kageyama placed his hand on Tsukishima's forehead and sure enough his hand was met with a fever heat, it felt pretty high too.

"Are you sick?" Kageyama asked, even though he was pretty much stating the obvious. "Okay okay, let's pay for this and then go home" Kageyama desided. Tsukishima grumbled an approving noise and they both walked over to the check out.

Tsukishima didn't say anything the car ride back, focusing on keeping his insides, well inside. Tsukishima kept his eyes closed and sat as still as possible. Kageyama placed one hand on Tsukishima's thigh while keeping his eyes on the road.

The movement of the car ride unsettled Tsukishima's stomach and the nausea at the back of his throat never left despite getting out the car. "Come on, leave the groceries, you need medicine and rest" Kageyama said, getting out the car and over to Tsukishima.

"You look pale" Kageyama said directly, but in a concerned voice. Kageyama entered their house with Tsukishima, "Tadashi, Shōyō!" Kageyama said in a quiet-ish voice, Tsukishima and Kageyama went over to the couch where Hinata and Yamaguchi were.

Tsukishima joined them on the couch, closing his eyes imidiantly and placing a hand on his churning stomach. Yamaguchi and Hinata sensed something was off and looked at Kageyama for answers.
