Raven had never sat on the Salvatore's roof before. She had never looked out and saw how brightly the moon shone down on the patch of driveway where her campervan was once parked, or how bitter the wind could feel as it ruffled through her hair.

She enjoyed the quiet and the peacefulness of it until someone opened the window and climbed out to join her.

"There you are" Stefan greeted her.

"I thought you were Damon for a second then..." Raven admitted, feeling glad it was the other Salvatore.

"You seem relieved it wasn't?" Stefan tilted his head, assessing Raven's expression.

She sighed and shook her head "Is it that obvious?"

"You two have barely spoken all night" Stefan highlighted as he sat down beside her.

Raven hesitated for a moment before deciding to be honest with him "He kissed me and I liked it"

"Ah" Stefan winced, understanding the issue "And now you're having mixed feelings"

She nodded in admission "I loved Klaus but loving him had it's consequences"

"You feel somewhat guilty for what happened to your mother" Stefan deduced.

Raven gulped "When I died, I saw her, she looked happy and free. She wasn't burdened anymore and that gave me closure. But if I hadn't been so involved with Klaus, she would still be alive. I would still be able to go home and hug her"

"What do you feel for Damon?" Stefan questioned, urging Raven to continue about how she felt.

"He's different. He excites me and from the moment I met him, I wanted to know more about him" Raven admitted, holding her head in her hands.

Stefan wrapped his arm around her shoulders, comforting her "I hate to ask this, but what about Kol? Have you even told him you're leaving?"

Raven shook her head "I've left him a voicemail but since Klaus daggered him and I released him, he's been on the run-"

She fell silent and then sighed "And I don't love Kol. He made me feel like a young and reckless, rebellious teen again. He made me laugh and let go of my worries but I never felt strongly for him...unlike Klaus and Damon" she confessed.

"You love them both and you can't choose. That's why you're leaving" Stefan deduced again.

"That's-" Raven stuttered a little, lowering her head "I'm leaving for many different reasons but yes, that's one of them"

"I think spending some time away could be good for you. It'll help you figure out what you want from life, who you want" Stefan advised with a caring smile.

"Yeah" Raven agreed, resting her head on his shoulder "Thanks Stefan"

"Thankyou for all of this Caroline" Raven hugged her after the celebrations had all ended and the night sky was getting darker.

"I'm going to miss you so much" Caroline cried, almost squeezing Raven to death "You better call at least 3 times a week" she warned, finally pulling away from the hug.

Raven caught her breath dramatically and laughed "Of course I will" she then turned and smiled at Tyler "It was nice meeting you properly this time" he nodded with smile, in response.

"Bye!" Caroline waved, as Tyler escorted her out of the house.

Raven closed the door over and turned to Stefan and Damon, who stood by the fire "I should get some sleep, my taxi will be here early in the morning" she smiled, retreating to bed.
