4:30am, we'd set every stone right, on how to leave the town of Akwaba. There are fleets of cars and jeep abandoned, at the house with stable that we escaped, they should be in good stead, they look fresh and in order, just that grass and webs, dust and all manner of dirt has grown all over it. The big jeep is our main target, if it be in good health then we are a step away, from madam power and respect. Mrs Amankwa has developed a reputation of discordant for herself, and non of us we believed will be spared, when she realizes that, after all said and done, her self made slaves had impregnated her child.
Mr Amankwa, is in good support of whatever we tend to do, as long as we take care of his daughter. He desperately want her leave Akwaba, in his words, he doesn't want his wife's influence on his daughter. I told him we intends going to Ouagadougou, to further stay away from all our bad experiences, but that is not the case.
After speaking with the sage, Mr Salahadine. He advised that we follow that route, because it will further get us closer to Morocco.
Mr Amankwa, through his friend who worked at the nations oil and gas company, was able to get us a two jerrican of fuel, each one of it containing 25 litters of fuel. It a child's play compared to what we actually needs, but it most appreciated. We just hope the Jeep works, and it map app is not jammed before it was packed. After the day's work on the garden, I sneaked with Uche to the stable, it was close to a 10 kilometres walk, we went to check the jeep, we must leave in soonest. I don't understand what Mr Salahadine means by, if we are still at Ghana then we are running behind time, and must to leave in less than three days time, but if I know Mr Salahadine well, he doesn't blab, he is a straight up forward man, when he say stop, an inch you take can destroy not only you, but also your shadows. And so? We don't have time any longer to play with. We got off and was some minutes on the road, when this two guys came to join us. Mr Amankwa had sent them to accompany us. They works as one of the vigilante group of the town, I objected but on his insistence, we set out. It was a smooth but hard to bear pains of a journey, a 10 kilometers walk is no joke, after a hectic day. We got there after a hours walk drained of power, energy, and guts, we kind of want to give up on the whole thing. I believe Uche found the will to continue, because of my relentlessness, or as the old man in Ubaha-afor said, the head of the family, Norbert and Robert's father, that Uche see things, maybe he believed in me, because of what he had seen, but for me I pushed on because, Mr Salahadine want me over, at once or else things will destructs further. We are fortunate, the jeep uses not only fuel but is also a solar chargeable vehicle, unfortunately, its a fingerprint starter, little wonder, it is not done away with, since it there. As soon as we got there, one of the boys that came with us hissed and said it, even before we confirm it, that, we would have said we are going to Mr Kuffour villa, that they would have told us about him, all his vehicles are fingerprints, and nothing we could do to get the vehicle started. I slotted the chip in the phone and connected to Mr Salahadine.
- what! Summerman. You mean you guys are still in Ghaaaanaaaa? Man we are doomed. Let just hope the sect have not seen you on net, cause if they have, then you are out of time. -
There are some group after, whoever was the last chip, and that's the chip with me, according to Salahadine, its for aerodynamic movement, its to project a defense, it will short down any form of missiles or bomb attack.
- you must leave that your, Akwaba in the next 10 - 15 hours. As we were speaking, I noticed that the boys were, communicating also with some persons. They are not supposed to own such a gadget, is an intelligence gadget. We were still hanging around, I pretended confused, even though Mr Salahadine requested the brand of the jeep and, some details in it and promised to send the code in ten minutes, and never to reach him again, until we exits Ghana. I switched off from him and pretended to be online with him, in order to get around what's going on. Uche was looking out for scathed, and the two guys were together. I switched to using mommy instead of Salahadine. I moved closer to them.
- mommy tell Salahadine to read his books, not minding the situation of the world, its important. -
I walked a bit away from them, they were actually on video call, and I overheard one of them say to the receiver.
- I don't think he is the one, his Salahadine is his junior brother, not the sage. -
That struck me hard, and I was able to hear it very clearly, like it devastated me, so we've not been alone, there's a black sheep even among us, who has been relating our movement, and no wonder, we always have the company of persons, I thought to myself that Lotanna is a dead man, he must be the black sheep. Or is it Uche? I don't until now know the power of the chip with me. I thought I overheard the conversation of the guy, but the phone was actually the one picking it up. When you are on line it doesn't pick, but offline it does. I heard it clearly, kill whoever it is and check his phone. At the same time Mr Salahadine message came in, I began to walk away from them, going to Uche, looking into my eyes he could tell that something was wrong. At this juncture I know I don't have to trust anybody, even my son is a suspect, but at this stage I am now, is better to dance even with a vampire, than to dine with Judas. If Uche is the black sheep, I can deal with it than this ones. Through the phone with me I could see the second guy coming at me with a jackknife up in his hand, Uche was signalling me, asking me what's going on. I dropped the phone in my pocket, and swiftly as he got to me, and was going to stab my ribs, I grabbed at his wrist, unexpectedly to him, I turned on his body stabbing into his throat with the same knife, I kicked at once at the balls of the guy with the phone, quietly done. I placed the phone on my ear, it was Baba's voice, Mr Allahabad talking.
Why on our way to the Kuffour villa, we met scathed, but they were sleeping, standing around not making any advance at us, because we did not disturb their sleep. The jeep was a sound proof, and when we got to the scathed we just crush them, hit them off the road.
- what's up with the guys? -
I am seriously tensed, and confused, no one to trust, I matched on the break at once and held my spear on Uche's neck, pressing on it until it bleeds, I screamed on the top of my voice at him, that it made the scathed on the road to grump.
- who are you working for? -
- you of course -
I pressed it even more further.
- if you don't start talking, I will waste you, do you like the world as it is? -
- when you are bent on helping, Mrs Pamela, we doubted our trust in you, even accepting her was a much heck for us to bear. -
- who is Mrs Pamela and who is the we? -
Uche told me that the one I know as Amaka, is actually Mrs Pamela Johnson. She works for baba right from the first day we arrived at Ubaha-afor, she was a court marshalled, wife of a business mogul in Ede-ukwujiafor. When she fell sick they were happy that she was going to die, but I insistently was helping her. But luckily she died, and in clear words he told me.
- the black sheep you seek is Emeka -
At that time it occurred to me that in life, the main ailment, is not the sicknesses that takes us to hospitals, but the main ailment the world suffers, is we human beings.
Who told him that an looking for a black sheep, am in trouble, but as it is, I still have to work with everybody. As it is, its obvious that I have been pulling all this while with black widows, and if I have mated with a black widow, and came out unscathed, then I need not shiver, but complete this my arthropods life.
More surprise awaited me, I got to Akwaba and met a repented and kind Mrs Amankwa.
Mrs Amankwa had killed her husband Mr Amankwa, she was ready to leave Akwaba with us and was ready that I control the team. She explained that Mr Amankwa has been the one threatening her to behave the way she does, or he'll kill her, but as she could not bear it any longer, she has to kill him, knowing the threat he will pose leaving with us as he wanted to.
Some things are not just adding up hear to me, but I have to now pull with the black widows, to get to my destination, but I must choose the arthropod to be, is it the black widow, or which?
The journey must continue, but am more than confused now. I was going to fizzle off, when I remembered what the sage said as I was leaving his office, after a visit with Sarahdina.
- what makes a man complete, is that unseen morale to jump the next hurdle.
.          .          .          .          .
We do not have to load with us the whole world for this journey, even though we have space to carry a lot, and seem to have the time in the world to do that. I do not have to show the urgency anymore, as it is I must to be careful now than ever. My strongest weapon has been that nature of mine, of not being a talkative, or kindly putting it, I don't talk much even when I have a lot to say. My father always say, that what you say, can always make or mar you. Know when to talk and what to say, at all time, but learn to keep the last word back, they are always venomous.
As we were about to move, Mohammed asked a stone question.
- since madam Amankwa has shown us that Mr Amankwa was the bad one, why leaving Akwaba, what else do we want my friends? -
- we have always been on the move, and now we believe is the right time to move again my friend. -
I was yet to finish with what I was going to say, when an influx of scathed beings badged in on us, from the path we are to journey from. There is no way we ignore it to start the journey, so I asked Ebere to stay in the vehicle with the baby, they have the first stage of the scathed beings here in Ghana, than the others, they could jump from floor to the roof of the jeep. I did not ask Mrs Amankwa to join them, but when she did, I have to allow her and Gabriella. As we gained upper hand a bit, gaining ground, I remembered what the boy on the phone said, and the reply I heard Baba's voice gave. " kill him, and make sure you and the other returns here, tell Mohammed to get the flight ready at Ouagadougou, for us to get Salahadine, don't forget the chip"
I was always forming a guard to others, when the scathed show up, it gives them room to fight smoothly, but this time Mohammed, have over stayed his welcome, I saw the scathed coming at him and backed away, then saw it plunged at deep bite at him, but he pretended nothing, Mrs Amankwa was saying something to Ebere in the jeep, but we have to leave now. The phone was on record in the jeep. I opened the back of the jeep and Lotanna entered there, where we have the two jerrican. The scathed were still coming, I asked Uche and Emeka to jump in, the guns are still with us, the ones Atete was carrying, I pointed it at Mohammed and asked him to move back. Mrs Amankwa was furious, protesting against it, I made him move back and asked him to turn his back, when they saw that he has been bitten, they became dumbfounded. Mrs Amankwa cupped her mouth with her palm, as we left leaving Mohammed alone with the scathed beings.
