For my bestfriend, I love you L :)
It's been three days since my talk with James and four since Alex's meltdown. It's thursday. I hop out of the shower and grab a pink fluffy warm towel. The water from my hair drips down my spine and I shudder. I grab my phone and turn on the country radio. I smile when Yeah by Joe Nichols plays.
"It was just another night in the hayfield. 'Til she climbed down off of them four wheels, Yeah, yeah" I sing out with Joe. I sway to the music as I walk into my closet, trying to find something to wear today.
"Soon as that sundress hit the headlights,Every tailgate way out there was like yeah, yeah. She started walking over to me, Like she already knew me,Sat down right beside me, And asked if I was here alone..."
I stop singing, grabbing a white v-neck t-shirt, my red capri skinnys, and my white converse and a tanktop. I shrug the tanktop over my bra and pull my capris up over my butt and fold the ends up. I blow dry my hair but stop and squeal when Drinking Class by Lee Brice turns on. I run over to my speakers and plug my iphone in, turning the volume all the way up. If Max and Mady weren't up before, they sure are now. Mady bursts into my bedroom, screaming, with only underwear on.
"SAVE ME DILLY!" She screams and jumps onto my bed.
"MADY!" I scream. I walk toward her and point a finger toward the door. "Get out of my room!"
Max runs into my doorframe and stops in his tracks. He puts his hands up in surrender. "My fault. Let's go, Mady. You know you aren't supposed to barge in without permission." I huff and walk back into my bedroom. "Thank you!" I yell to no reply.
I plug in my wand. I love my siblings, but privacy is a big thing for me and they know that. I put eyeliner and mascara on and curl my hair. The wand curls are too tight so I run my fingers through them quickly and am happy with the loose, natural looking curls. I pull the tight shirt over my head. I look at the clock... 7:48. "Shit!" I mumble. I grab my iphone, backpack and converse and run down the stairs, brushing my teeth. "Mom!" I shout. But with all the toothpaste in my mouth, what came out wasn't english. I drop my backpack, shoving my iphone into my pocket and shoving my feet into my shoes. "MOM!" I scream again.
"Honey! Don't be so loud, I'm right here." She says quietly, looking over the couch.
"Oh. Oops. Where's Max and Mady?"
"They took the bus, Sweetheart." She states plainly.
My eyes widen and I mentally facepalm myself. "Mom! You couldn't have told me that before?! UGH!"
"Spit out that toothpaste, I can't hear you." I roll my eyes and make my way to the bathroom. I spit out the white-green foamy mess and pour some mouthwash into my mouth.
I look at the clock, 7:52...!?!?
I rush out of the bathroom, grab my backpack and slam the front door behind me.
"Have a good day, Honey!" My mom screams. I almost forgot about the mouthwash, it burning my mouth. I spit it out into my mothers flowerbed. Oops! I shrug and run toward my car. Pulling out of the driveway and making my way toward hell. Oh sorry i meant school ;)

I made it to school with two minutes to spare. I quickly walk to my locker, shoving my backpack in and grabbing my things for history. I close my locker and run into a hard chest.
"Watch where you're going As...." I look up and smile sheepishly at Jake. "Oh, sorry, I didn't know it was you."
He chuckles lightly, "Come on Dil, don't want to be late." He slides his arm around my waist and manuvers us toward history. We get there just on time and make our separate ways to our seats. I look toward my left, at an empty seat and frown, no Alex? I look to my right at Brielle.
