Introduction

"Get back here!" I screamed. Mady giggled, and ran down the hallway. My little sister wouldn't take a bath, and Mom forced me to get her cleaned. She's five, but seriously? She runs away every time like she's three and I have to get her kicking and screaming in my ear. Getting up, I walked down to the kitchen. I wasn't up for this. Having to chase her around all night, I have shit to do, damn it! Mom wasn't home, and Dad wasn't either. Great. Max, my ten year old brother, was down playing Call Of Duty on our Xbox and as much as he loved me, he wouldn't help me get Mady no matter how much I paid him or promised him. "Mady! Come here please!" Knowing it wouldn't work, I decided to give her a "detour". Grabbing two cookies from the counter, I sprinted up the stairs, determined to get the little brat in the bath tub. I found her in her room, completely naked, and playing with her Barbie dolls. "Mady look at me." She wouldn't. I was really getting tired of this, I held up the cookie, and she whipped her head around, her eyes got huge. She wasn't allowed to have cookies before bed, but this time, I was willing to make an exception. "Give me! Give me! Give me that cookie!" She was jumping on me trying to get the damn cookie. "Stop it! You can only have the cookie until after you get in the tub. Okay?" Surprisingly, she hugged my legs and sprinted to the bathroom. Finally she'd let me. I had gotten her clean, and she was half dressed when my iPhone buzzed off. It was my best friend, Blaine. It read, "Hey miss you already Dilan! We all do! How's Cali? Florida is just retarded as always. It sucks you have to be the new girl again. Tell me all about your first day!" Blaine was my best friend from move #1. I lived in Florida for three years and went to Atlantic High School, it was a really good school. I texted Blaine back, I sure will. I totally miss all of you guys! Hahaha except Devin and Bradley. I can't believe I dated Dev, he was such a jerk. He cheated on me with Bianca. Hahahah she was probably giving it to him and he thought she'd go down easier than I would. Like seriously? Ew. I wouldn't ever give myself away like that to anyone. Cali is great, its crazy, just like my family. I finished dressing Mady, gave her the cookie and sent her off to bug Max. Cleaning up in the bathroom, I walked to my room and plopped on my bed. My first day back to school, at a new one where I get the complete joy of being the new girl again..... great. To be honest, I'm terrified. Will I fit in will the clothes I wear? Come on Dil! It's Los Angeles... like second home to fashion or something. I gotta wake up early! My phone went off again and Blaine texted me back. Haha oh Dil! :) I know Dev's just... ew. I was scared about what you'd say so I didn't tell you but, I have to go and I need to tell you that, Devin broke up with Bianca, then he came to me and he's my boyfriend, and he's so amazing :) He really loves me but I gotta go!
