*Avery's POV*
I start to walk over to them, I probably look awful as my face must be bring red and I must have tear stained cheeks. But I don't really care.
"I'm Cameron, that's Nash, that's Hayes, that's Skylynn and that's Sierra." He smiled at me.
"Well done." I say sarcastically. He looks hurt then covers it up by rolling his eyes.
"Don't need to be a bitch." The boy I know as Hayes said.
"You're not the one who had move from an amazing place to this shithole so I would shut up." I snap, then they start to walk ahead of me.
I grab my Beats earphones and follow them to the ice cream parlour. I start to listen to Beside you by 5sos.
This song is basically me but it's not about a girl, it's about my best friends. They finally get there and walk in while I trail behind, and then walk in. They all get ice cream together and I just order for myself.
"Chocolate ice cream with 3 scoops, and different coloured sprinkles please." I say and wait for the man to make it, I give him the note and he faces me money back. I don't think I'll ever get used to the money, it looks fake.
I sit on my own table, just humming to Thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran. I was in the process of humming and eat ice cream- I can multi-task as I am a women. Well, not yet but you know..
I look to the corner of the room to see all that group of people staring at me, I roll my eyes. I finish my ice cream and put the cup thing in the bin.
I decided to go to the toilets, no body was in here. I looked at myself in the mirror, staring at my reflection.
"Avery, come on. Start being nicer, you're just going to push everyone away. Kade and Faith are probably at home, worrying about you," I say as a tear slides down my cheek. "You'll see them soon. You will get through this, I know it will be hard but you can. You are strong." I say and then start to cry. I feel someone hug me so I immediately hug back. Then I feel someone hug my waist.
I look up to see Sierra and I look down to see Skylynn. "Are you okay?" Sierra asks, concern filling her eyes.
"Do you want the truth?" I ask and she nods. "No, I'm not okay." I breathe out as I start to shed more tears.
"You'll have fun here in this 'shithole'" she says and I laugh, using my term for what this place is.
"I'm sorry I was being such a horrible person, I'm just going through a lot at the moment." I say and look down to see Skylynn looking up at me, grinning.
"You'll love it here! Because I'm here!" She says and hugs me again. I smile at her, she was so cute.
She grabbed my hand and lead me outside of the toilets, and Sierra followed behind laughing at how exited she was.
The boys looked at me and glared, and then saw Skylynn holding my hand and smiled a bit.
