*Avery's POV*
We walk towards them and I look down. "I'm sorry for being rude.." I mumble.
"It's okay." Cameron smiles and we all sit down.
I put my ear phones in, not to be rude, it's because music is basically my life. I just stare at the table, the last few days have concluded of me crying constantly.
I shed a tear, I miss them.
I feel Nash poke my side, I take my ear phones out. "Are you okay?" He asks.
"I'm fine." I'm not fine.
"Okay. We want to get to know you." He says and gives me a reassuring smile.
"Full name?" Cameron asks.
"Avery Niomi Childs." I reply. He gives me a smile.
"Age?"
"13."
"Grade?" Nash asks.
"What is a grade?" I ask him, he just thinks.
"Like.. What grade were you in while at school?.." He says.
"Do you mean year?" I ask and he nods.
"I'm in grade 9." I say.
"Same as me." The boy named Hayes said and I gave him a nod.
"Single? Or nahhhh?" Cameron asks me, I just laugh.
"Single." I shrug.
"I really like your accent." Hayes said, and I just smile.
"Thanks I guess. I like all of yours too." I smile and they smile back.
"I like your hair." Sierra said, inspecting my ombré curly hair. "Is it natural?" She asks and I nod. "It's gorgeous." She says and starts to play with it.
We all just start talking, until I hear my phone bing telling me that I have a new text message.
