"What took you guys so long?" Sarah leaned in, whispering into my ear just as the show was starting. Harry just walked onto stage, holding his arms out with a big grin as if he was basking in the cheers of the crowd.

I knew that wasn't the only reason he was in a good mood, though.

"We were out here for, like, ten minutes before you guys came out," Sarah continued, just as Harry did a sort of dance on the stairs that led down to the stage.

I frowned for a moment at Sarah's words, before my grin immediately returned as I watched Harry do a little spin, and watch the band as they finished out their intro. I leaned in to quickly whisper a response to Sarah. "Jeff just came and got us a couple of minutes ago."

She looked at me with a small frown. "Really? He said he'd go get you guys right after us."

The audience's clapping began fading out, and I knew Harry was about to start speaking, so I simply said, "Weird. He must've gotten distracted."

Sarah didn't respond after that since Harry had began his monologue. He did a small bow to the audience with a small smile, but when he bowed in our direction and met my eyes, his smile widened dramatically, making my own smile turn into a giddy grin.

He looked so fucking good, and I was actually surprised at how put together he looked, knowing there was no fucking way I looked as put together as he did. It was almost irritating how perfect he looked after fucking the shit out of me no more than five minutes ago.

"I'm so excited to be here as more than just a musical guest," Harry began, and I felt transfixed as I watched him. My cheeks were already sore from smiling so hard, but I didn't think that would stop any time soon. I was so fucking proud of him. "Feels amazing. Feels like when you find out someone likes you as more than just a friend. Saturday Night Live and I have taken things to the next level," he joked, and the audience laughed as I rolled my eyes and let out a small laugh of my own.

"And just like all of my serious relationships, we're all gonna spend one incredible night together. And then we'll never see each other again."

I nearly choked on my laugh, and Sarah laughed along with me, giving me a knowing look. Harry and I's relationship had literally began with a one night stand, and I knew he had thrown that one in there just for me.

Harry's monologue continued, and I was actually sort of surprised at how genuinely funny it was. It's not like I didn't know Harry was funny, but I'd never seen him in this sort of environment, and I was pleasantly surprised.

Harry was at the piano now, pretending to play it as he continued the monologue. He made a quick joke about One Direction, and Zayn being the Ringo of the group, which simultaneously made me sad and laugh at the same time. I didn't even care that if One Direction got back together, I wouldn't have a job anymore. I'd go broke just to see them together again, honestly.

"Also, everybody thinks the cast does a lot of cocaine. They don't," he said with a shrug. "That's why the show's not good anymore."

My eyes widened, and I brought my hand up to my mouth as I let out a loud laugh at that joke. He had made the joke to me earlier when he was practicing the monologue with me, but I didn't think he'd actually say it. I thought he was joking.

He wasn't completely wrong though, and I think that's why the audience laughed so loud at that one.

"Except tonight!" he continued, his usual narcissism making an appearance.

"We've got a great show, so stick around, and we'll be right back!" he said and then stood up from the piano, still pretending to play it—even though I knew he knew how to actually play it—as his other hand came up and did jazz hands.
