so I made a lot of elevators in my Minecraft life. the only one that I know that I can WRITE because I can't tell you every step at a time (you will get confused) so magma and soul sand elevator

so if you didn't know when you place soul sand in the water you go up
and when you use magma blocks on the water you go down
did you ever went on a boat and swam over magma bocks and your boat shakes and braked and you sink you the bottom yea
but the good thing is that both soul sand and magma blocks give you air so you can make an elevator to block limit
