then you will get eye of ender. you will need 12 to be safe then when you got them throw them by right-clicking and it will show you the direction where the end portal is and when you find the end portal it will look something like this

this is a stronghold this is where you find the end portal and all you have to do is place the eye of ender on the end portal and it will open
