we use the respawn anchor to obviously respawn but in the nether, see first in the game they use crying obsidian to respawn but beds took their place so they were taken out of the game but later they use crying obsidian to make the respawn anchor like beds if you use then in the nether they explode but respawn anchors explode in the overworld you charge the respawn anchor by using glow stones you can use the respawn anchor 4 times before you recharge it

the only way you get crying obsidian is by finding it in a chest in a naturally generated broken nether portal in the nether or in the overworld or by trading with a piglin
