Oikawa walked to the baggage carousel to get his bags. Yachi had packed for him already so all he had to do was get his bag and his driver would be just outside. Tooru could see the other passengers getting their bags and once he arrived there were no bags left. He ended up waiting 10 minutes then finally went to talk to the front desk.
"Hi! How can I help you, sir?"
"I walked over to the baggage carousel and none of my bags are there."
"Maybe it's jumbled with the others?"
"There wasn't any luggage left. I literally had six other people with me on the plane."
"First and last name sir?"
"Oikawa Tooru." (i am aware tooru is his first name but its less confusing for me)
"Oikawa?" she looked up as he sighed and removed his sunnies
"Yeah."
"Oh I'm so sorry for the hassle sir!" the lady tucked her hair behind her ear.
After a few minutes of Oikawa waiting and the front desk making calls, she had finally come to a conclusion. No one checked-in baggage for Oikawa. Meaning he doesn't have clothes, his 12-step skincare, his nic pods, nor his laptop.
"Jesus Christ." Oikawa sighed "Thank you anyways."
I mean it was just a simple understanding. Yachi said he had to take care of everything but he didn't know he had to take care of every single thing. She would be MIA for a week too so there was nothing he could do about it. As Tooru walked to the pickup area outside, he crossed his fingers that Yachi still booked him a driver.
He arrived at the pickup place and no one with a cardboard sign was there. Oikawa spotted a guard and ran to him.
"Hi did any driver stop by?"
"Nope but I can call you an uber. It'll take 5 minutes tops." The driver saw Oikawa cringe then replied "Uber Lux, you are in the rich people area of the airport sir. Off to where sir?"
"Fritzs Carlington."
"Oh, and can I get a picture? My wife and daughter love you so much I can recognize you under those sunglasses!"
After the picture taking, Oikawa pulled out his phone to play one of his games, Genshin Impact. The five minutes gone fast, he was able to do two quick commission quests before the driver arrived. Tooru went inside the BMW and he was off to the hotel. The only thing he hoped for was that Yachi sorted out the hotel stuff. Even the most available room in Fritzs Carlington could take weeks for a booking and Oikawa could only stay in the executive suites of hotels.
