THIRD PERSON POV
When Hyejin was finished with her dinner, she bade her unnies ‘goodnights’ a tad less heartfelt when she said the word to Moonbyul. While the two was left in the table, she went to her and Wheein’s room.
The smell of body wash wafts in their room signaling that the smaller woman had taken her shower already. She scans their room and noticed a huddled lump on the side of their bed. She feels that Wheein is taking her time so she decides to take her shower too while thinking of how to woo her girlfriend. After her soothing shower, she sat at her end of the bed. The dip in the mattress didn’t create a reaction from the still figure hidden under the covers.
“Come out there, babe. I know you’re still awake.”
The cocoon-like structure stirs. Wheein unsheathes the blanket just below her eyes as she turns to face Hyejin. Her expectant and innocent wide eyes staring at her girlfriend.
It was still obvious she is pouting under the covers.
Hyejin laid on her side, facing her. Her hands tucked under her head.
“Why were you so nervous? There’s nothing to be embarrassed, you’re my girlfriend and I’m yours. Of course, we could kiss.”“But unnie saw us.”
“And that’s on her. She didn’t knock in the first place and it is our room. Don’t ever feel embarrassed about showing your affection to me.”
“It’s not really that. I’m just new to this relationship dynamic and I’ve never actually taken the initiative before to show and express how I feel aside from the time I asked you to be my girlfriend and that makes it the more embarrassing when unnie saw us.” She hid under the covers again.
Hyejin stifles a giggle at her girlfriend’s cuteness. She pulled the covers down to see the face she adores the most. She pulled on Wheein to bury the woman in her chest.
“It’s okay, babe. I understand. We’ll take this real nice and slow. At whatever pace you’re comfortable with.” Hyejin withdraws to look at Wheein’s face. “Just remember to lock the door next time.” She added with while rubbing their noses together.
Wheein giggled at her girl. She looked at Hyejin’s eyes with the same intensity of adoration. “Thank you for always understanding me, Hyej. You’ve always been since the beginning. When I was still confused, when I was still stuck up on Moonbyul, when I was still figuring things out with you, you never get tired of patiently waiting for me.”
“Of course.” Hyejin smiles. She wanted to say those three words but she doesn’t want to pressure Wheein. She promised after all, that she’ll wait for her to be comfortable. Instead, she picks up a few stray strands off of Wheein’s face and tucks behind her ear. All the while, Wheein watches her. She stares at Hyejin’s thick lashes, her high cheekbones, and her pink lips.
When their eyes meet, there was an inevitable pull that they both feel. Their face gravitates closer, eyes and lips ajar, slowing meeting when all of a sudden a low but audible groan went off from the other room.
“Oh my god! They’re at it.” Hyejin complains with the roll of her eyes as their sweet moment was interrupted once again.
She covers both of Wheein’s ears to prevent the girl from hearing lewd noises. Yet, Wheein is more amused than annoyed.
“Aish, those two. Ugh. Let’s go to sleep.” Hyejin continues grumbling as she pulls on Wheein’s blanket to also cover herself. She scooted closer as Wheein hugs her waist.Soon enough, as the night pursues, everything quieted down. Tomorrow would be their last day to enjoy before they would have to go back home. They’ll surely make the best of it.

“ACCHHHOOOOOO!!!”
Moonbyul hugs Yongsun closer to her body, sharing her heat to her girlfriend who is having a cold upon their fall yesterday and today’s exhausting activities. Yongsun was on her girlfriend’s lap, wrapped around her thick jacket and Moonbyul’s arms. On the other hand, Hyejin and Wheein sat side by side with the younger’s head resting over Wheein’s shoulder.
They were around the fireplace, enjoying its warmth with a chilled bottle of Dom Perignon on their last night together.
They enjoyed the day together, skating, sledding, skiing, riding cable cars, throwing snowballs and just generally playing around. By the end of the day they were all dead-tired that Yongsun even developed a cold.“Are you okay?” Moonbyul asks.
“I’m fine. It’ll be gone after a good rest.” Yongsun calms the worrying woman.
“I hope you don’t catch her colds though, unnie.” Wheein says to Moonbyul.
Hyejin scoffs “I think it’s inevitable. I mean after last night’s activities you’re probably infected already.” Then she gave the couple a mischievous look.
Yongsun’s face turned beet red, complimenting her runny red nose. Hyejin just confirmed they heard her and Moonbyul last night.
Moonbyul shrugs. “Well, unfortunately for me, nothing happened last night aside from a few kisses and teasing because my girl is being too modest thinking about the kids on the other room.”
To this, Yongsun gave her a flick on the forehead. The two young girls laughed at Moonbyul’s shocked face as she gently touches the reddening part of her forehead that was hit.
“Why’d you do that???”
“I guess you haven’t learned your lesson last night. No need to say unnecessary things, especially those which should be private.” Yongsun reprimands as she pinches Byul’s nose.
“Okay, okay. I think I remember now…” She struggles to pull Yongsun’s hand away from her nose. “…and I want to apologize Wheein and Hyejin. I’m sorry for barging in like that and for my blabbering mouth.” She looks at her two friends on the opposite side.
“It’s okay now, Byulie unnie.” Wheein was laughing at how Yongsun was disciplining her. Yong definitely has Moonbyul wrapped around her finger with the way she’s following her commands like a little kid.
They turned to Hyejin.
“Since my girl is fine with it, apology accepted.”
“This definitely calls for a toast.” Yongsun raises her glass as the three followed suit.
“Cheers.” They said in unison.
They continued talking for the rest of the night. Their stories revolving all the memories they’ve had in the cabin since the first day. The hilarious reason why Wheein was on Hyejin’s neck, Moonbyul’s groan last night and apparent frustration in the morning, Hyejin’s fall on her butt in the skating rink and Yongsun losing their snowball fight as the loser crew pitted against her.
It was a trip they’ll never forget and treasure for forever.
Unfortunately, most good things are bound to end.

Moonbyul drags her bags on her way up her apartment, she was too tired to carry them as she had already carried Yongsun’s when she accompanied her home. She huffs when she reached the door. Exhaustion and longing for the girls have already caught up in her mood that fast.
She was about to enter her code, only to realize her door was unlocked. Someone has opened it. She cautiously opened the door, thinking the intruder might still be in the area.
What she didn’t expect was that the one who intruded is sitting comfortably inside, waiting for her. Moonbyul stood there, face to face with someone she was not expecting much less even wanting to see.
“What are you doing here?”
