TASK FORCE X: A SUICIDE SQUAD

CHAPTER ONE: THE MASKED MAN

ARKHAM ASYLUM, GOTHAM CITY, 1986:
'Twas coming to the end of the year, The Joker had taken over Arkham Asylum, releasing all the inmates and reeking chaos all across Arkham island.

It got to one point in the night, where one of The Joker's weapons had been released...Bane.

"AFTER I KILL YOU...I'LL KILL YOUR BUTLER, YOUR FRIENDS...AND YOUR CITY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FIGHT BACK!", Bane told Batman as he was dragged across the floor. Batman then dropped smoke, elbowed Bane in the groin, kicked Bane onto his knees and pulled a tube from Bane's hand, as Batman smashed Bane to the ground, as he proceeded to punch him. As Bane became weaker, Batman slowed down and told him, "IT'S OVER BANE...YOU'VE LOST", as Bane laid on the ground. "I...WILL...BREAK...YOU, YOU....THINK YOU'VE WON?!", Bane asked him, as he struggled. "I DOUBT WE'LL BE SEEING EACH OTHER FOR A LONG TIME", Batman responded as walked through the corridor, leaving Bane.

SOMETIME LATER:
Bane had been intensively nursed back to health, before he found himself in the back of a military transport plane, cuffed with his hands behind his back, surrounded by heavily armed guards. As the plane landed, they felt the humidity hit them in the face. Bane was marched down onto the runway of an airstrip, where he was met by military vehicles with a woman standing in front of them.

Bane was marched over to the woman, as she introduced herself. "Hello Bane, I'm Amanda Waller. Welcome to Belle Reve", she said.

SOMETIME LATER, BELLE REVE PENITENTIARY, LOUISIANA:
Bane sat in his cell, which was heavily guarded, when suddenly the alarms went off all around the prison. In a matter of moments, the doors blew open, when a big gun fight happened between guards and a group of mercenaries, when Bane's cell door was blown open by the mercenaries. Bane walked out when he realised this was his own militia, as they shot their way through the prison, taking Bane to a helicopter where they escaped the prison.

After the break out, Amanda Waller had arrived at the scene, watching body's of guards be covered up.

Waller looked at the video footage of the breakout, watching a group of mercenaries escort Bane to a helicopter, where they left. "Dammit", Waller said, as she clenched her fists together.

SOMETIME LATER:
After leaving Belle Reve, Bane and the mercenaries had taken an airplane to fly over seas.

After a few hour journey, they arrived at the tropical sunny Caribbean  island of, Santa Prisca. The island where Bane grew up.

Bane and the mercenaries had left the airplane, as they headed to Bane's childhood home, Peña Duro, a prison.

BELLE REVE PENITENTIARY, LOUISIANA, 1990:
Amanda Waller walked down the corridor to a cell, "Drury Walker", she said, facing a man in an orange prison uniform, Drury Walker, AKA...The Moth. "Time to suit up Walker, got another one of those missions again", she told him as Walker turned to her.

As Drury was escorted to the airstrip, he was provided with the equipment he needed, an upgraded version of his 'Moth' suit. "You gotta be shitting me", Drury said to Waller as he was joined my another few 'supervillains'. The first was a man, wearing a green, light weight tactical suit, with a 'kite symbol' on his chest, as he wore red lenses to protect his eyes. "Killer Moth, meet Kite-Man", Amanda Waller introduced the two of them, "Hey, wassup!", Kite-Man introduced himself. Drury shook his head, then another person exited a vehicle, heading over, this one wore a black leather jacket, with a dyed white long Mohican, "Headhunter", Waller greeted him, as he responded, "so we doing this again", with a grin, "you know the game, you accomplish the mission, ten years off you're sentence".

After those three had got ready, another had arrived, a tall and muscular built man, stood out the car, being escorted by guards. "Sorry, we're late...had a little brawl at Arkham", a guard said, "Meet Amygdala", Waller said to them, as the tall super strong man cane walking towards them, being escorted by guards. "Okay, all of you on the plane, we're gonna give you the brief on the way, let's move!", Waller shouted as they prepared to head out.

As the squad set off in the plane, Amanda Waller stood watching the plane take off, whilst Rick Flagg stood beside her, "you really think this is a good idea?", he asked, "hell no", Waller responded.

"Alright, here's the mission. A few years ago, a masked mercenary known as 'Bane' attacked Gotham, there were people saying he 'killed Batman'. Obviously not true, so Batman took him down, and we picked him up from Arkham and he escaped a while ago, but anyways...we're gonna go to the island of Santa Prisca, head towards the prison Peña Duro, take out whatever's guarding him and bring down Bane, any questions?", a solider briefed them, whilst other soldiers were on board with the squad, "yeah I have one, is it possible for me to use the toilet when we get off? Sorry I really need to pee", Kite-Man asked, however the soldier just ignored him and proceeded with the brief. "We sent out a squad here a few days ago, however we haven't heard from them, presumingly they're dead, but we'll keep our eyes open", the soldier informed them, "erm, how are we gonna know who they are?", Kite-Man questioned, "I don't know...maybe they're wearing a U.S. Uniform", a soldier responded, sarcastically.

As time went on, they were finally above the island of Santa Prisca, and the prison was in sight. "Right, everyone put on your parachutes, this is gonna be a ride. We're gonna land down by the prison and fight our way in". In a matter of moments, the squad had jumped out of plane, falling down from the sky, Kite-Man opened up his glider and glided down towards the prison, Killer Moth and Headhunter opened up their parachutes, safely heading down to the surface, however...Amygdala didn't know how...

Headhunter, Killer Moth and Kite-Man, followed by some soldiers landed on a nearby cliff by the prison, surrounded by Jungle. "Where's the other guy?", Kite-Man questioned as Amygdala was not in sight. Headhunter was already looking through a sniper rifle, at the prison watch towers, "what you got for us?", a soldier asked, "there's a man on each watch tower, we can either go in guns blazing or stealthily, your pick", Headhunter told the soldier, however Kite-Man responded, "I've done this loads of times back in Gotham, trust me I've got this one", Headhunter and the soldiers looked at each other, as Headhunter said, "alright, your call".

Kite-Man taken a deep breath, and stood at the edge of the cliff. "Anytime today would be nice", Headhunter said, as Kite-Man responded, "yeah-just getting warmed up", as he started jumping around and stretching.

Finally Kite-Man dived off of the cliff and glided towards the prison, as Headhunter got in a snipe position to cover Kite-Man. However, in a matter of moments, Kite-Man was being fired at, so he lost control of his glider, as he crashed into the wall of the prison, and fell to his death. "Fuck sake", a soldier said, as bullets fired in their direction.

Headhunter, used a sniper rifle to shoot down enemies from a distance, taking down multiple enemies one after the other. However, suddenly a helicopter appeared in the sky over the prison, so Headhunter shot at it, repeatedly, but the bullets weren't enough. The helicopter was firing heavy shots at them, as they took cover, when suddenly rockets came firing. Some of the soldiers had already been taken down, however Headhunter and Killer Moth hid. As more helicopters arrived, troops emerged, searching the area, when Headhunter began to open fire, whilst Killer Moth stayed hidden.

Headhunter took down these soldiers with his guns, firing rapidly at all of them, which is why they called him 'Headhunter'. However, there were too many of these soldiers, as Headhunter was shot in the leg, and beaten up by the soldiers, then taken onto a helicopter and flew towards the prison.

Being the only survivor, Killer Moth was horrified and proceeded to hide for his life.

MOMENTS LATER, PEÑA DURO:
After landing in the prison, Headhunter was taken by soldiers to a throne room, where he was dropped onto the ground, in front of a tall throne with a muscular masked man sitting on it. The man started to speak Spanish, which Headhunter didn't understand. "English?", Headhunter asked. "Ah, American?", the masked man question. "Are you Bane?", Headhunter questioned, "Amanda Waller send you?", Bane asked him, seeing a shocked look on Headhunter's face. "Perra", Bane said, which translated to 'Bitch', as he walked up to Headhunter, then snapped his neck.
