Yosemite Trip

You and Josh take a trip to Yosemite National Park in Northern California. You decide to camp out in the forest and not the canvas pots. You've never camped before and Josh wanted to give you a full experience. It was around 4:30 PM. "You ready y/n?" You give him a nervous smile. "Yes! I'm ready" He smiles with excitement.
He grabs his equipment to makes the tent. You tried to help the best way you could since you've never built one before. "I can't believe it took you and I two hours to build this tent" Josh says itching his head. "Sorry. I told you I'm not good with this type of stuff. You've been in nature more than me" He gives you a hug. "It's okay. It's part of the adventure! It was funny watching you too. You're so clueless" He laughs. "I am not! I just need some more practice is all" He shrugs his shoulders. "Okay. Let's prep everything else now"
It was almost night fall. Everything was set up. "I'll start the fire" he says. "No I'll do it!" You say grabbing the matches. Josh crosses his arms. "Baby we both know I'm the greatest fire starter of all time" You laugh and shake your head. "Well maybe someone should change that" You then grab a match. You try to start it but nothing happens. Soon enough he grabs the box. With one move he started the spark on the match. "Look! Fire! We've made fire!" He says like a crazy man. "Whatever" you say making your way to the tent. He puts the box down and takes a deep breath as he makes his way too you. "Come on y/n I was just kidding!" You look away and pout. He crawls to you and puts his head on your shoulder. "I'm sorry I was just having a little fun!" He says playing with your hair. "Well I know but I don't know it hurt a bit because I've never done this before and I was trying my best to be decent at least" He puts his hand on your chin and makes you face his cute face. "I know, I know. You're a rookie... but I like that" You raise your eyebrows. "Why? I would've thought you'd want a girl who knew everything about this stuff" He giggles. "No. You're perfect. I like teaching you new things" You blush. "Really?" He gives you a soft kiss on the lips. "Yes. Now how about we make some s'mores?" You nod your head. "Alright" You both make your way to the fire.
Eating the s'mores and watching the stars, Josh grabs a blanket and you both are snuggling underneath the moonlit sky. It was these moments that you'd reminisce.
